In fact, I was there during
the siege by the Israeli army,

I've been there since
the start of the war.

The last day we were
arrested by the army.

Before our arrest, we were
gathered on the ground floor

as per the army's instructions.

Suddenly, they set fire to
the operations room, the renal unit,

the maintenance unit, and the ER.

As they burned, we heard people
shouting from the burning buildings!

Here, during the two-month siege

we perfomed almost 100
surgical operations

—both medium and critical.

After this atrocious war
on the Gaza strip

—especially North Gaza—

and the repeated bombing
of Kamal Adwan Hospital

we are now back at
Kamal Adwan Hospital

As you can see,
the destruction is great.

And the reception, nursery,
intensive care units,

maternity ward, and the entire
surgical ward, have been burned.

This hospital has been completely
destroyed and is now inoperable.

But God willing, we will return,
rebuild, and restart

and this hospital will resume
its medical services, God willing.
