the object of baccarat is to get a point

total nearest to nine

you are placing a wager on whether the

banker or the player will have a winning

hand

keep in mind that the titles of banker

and player do not correspond to a

specific person

they are simply names to help

distinguish between the two sides on

which you may place a bet

you have the option of making three

different bets

the banker player or tie

of course bets cannot be placed on both

the banker and the player

the cards are worth face value with the

exception of 10

jack queen and king which have no value

they equal zero

the ace has a total point value of one

this is because in baccarat only single

digits are valid

for example if a hand were to be dealt

with a pair of eights for a total of 16

the first digit would be dropped making

the actual total

at this point no more bets are allowed

and all bets that have been placed are

not allowed to be altered

one of the great things about bachrat is

that the dealer really does all the work

so now you just get to sit back and

watch how it plays out

banker now has nine over six so banker

means they received a nine on their

original hand without hitting or drawing

a third card

since queens are valued at zero the

banker receives a two

player wins as no additional cards are

drawn for either side in the event of a

natural

in the case that there's a tie but no

players bet on it no one loses

instead the banker and player bats push

in addition to those three bets you may

also place a wager on the dragon or the

panda bet

both of these wagers pay odds on outcome

of specific hams

the dragon wager is considered a win if

the banker wins with a three card total

of seven

a panda wager win occurs if the player

has a three card total of eight and wins

the hands
