Corrode came down

But then we had a talk and said:
"We just need to play our game".

And the next two maps
really clicked for us.

What goes through your mind
when your team loses

the round right after pistol?

Is it more your team’s fault
for not full-buying,

or credit to the other
team for forcing?

Yeah, it depends, right?
You mean the anti-eco round.

Yeah, I think there is some credit
to the team that forces, for sure.

Because they’re risking
a lot economically,

they could be broke
for the rest of the half.

So yeah, it's a merit
of the other team.

When you left Delira
and joined 2G,

what was your first reaction

when you found out you'd
be playing VCT Americas?

Dude, I was hyped as hell.

Like, I did the tryout
with them, right?

And then days went by
and I hadn’t heard anything.

I was at my girlfriend’s house the day
they started calling me like crazy.

I got home and thought
"damn, I’m not getting picked".

Then I hopped on Discord
and the guys were all there in a call,

and they told me I made it.

I was so freaking happy, man.

It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,
so yeah, I couldn’t help but be stoked.

Was there a specific reason
you picked Viper

instead of a second initiator
on Corrode?

No, I think it was just more of
a comfort pick for the team overall.

Like, personally, I’d be fine
playing initiator too,

but the agents lined up
across the roster just fine.

- It just made sense.
- Yeah.

How was the transition for you

going from duelist
to sentinel and initiator?

We’ve seen improvement,
especially on Sunset,

but what’s the hardest
part about the role swap?

Man, it was tough at first.

I’ve always played duelist,

so switching roles
was a real challenge.

It still is sometimes,

because now I have to be
really focused on my utility.

I'm still learning how
to manage it properly.

When I’m playing
with spikeziN, it’s just like:

Where do you want the flash?
You want a stun?

That’s all I’m doing.

But I think I’m finding my path

and getting better
at it little by little.

How does it feel
to win clutch rounds

when your team’s life
is on the line?

- Man, I was hyped!
- I saw it.

Like...

Every round I clutched,
especially the first two,

I was a bit nervous,

but once I closed those out,
I was like, "Okay, I got this".

I was on fire. My confidence
shot up during those clutches.

Felt like even if it were a 1v4,
I’d take it.

I’m really proud of myself too,

because clutching is something
I’ve been training a lot.

And now it paid off, so yeah,
just pure happiness.

I was trying to count your clutches
on Ascent, but I lost track.

I got to three, was there more?

Man, I don’t know.

Might’ve been more, honestly.
Could’ve been four or five.

If you could swap one skill between
agents, what would you change?

Man, let me think.

Yes, it's true.

Before I joined 2G,
my style wasn’t great.

But then...

I started making some money

and I was like, "Alright, time
to upgrade the wardrobe".

Then I started buying
better clothes.

- So your style’s getting better.
- Yeah, gotta level up the style.

And Pryze has got drip for days,
so he helps me out too.

When I interviewed Silentz,

I asked who the best and worst
dressed in the team were.

He said Pryze was the most stylish,
like, would wear a full suit anywhere,

and you were the worst.

He even helps me shop now.

So do you think you’re

Not anymore.

Pryze is still the drippiest, for sure.

But I think I'm not
the worst anymore.
