PAPAJI - 6th March 1997 (full satsang)

  • 0:55 - 0:58
    0.55 Om
  • 1:36 - 1:41
    Satchitanand. "Beloved master Papaji.
  • 1:41 - 1:54
"Since discovering myself in your eyes,
  • 1:57 - 2:04
three years ago I have heard
  • 2:04 - 2:15
this gift in Colorado prison, Colorado prisons,
  • 2:15 - 2:19
    and also my mind my...
  • 2:24 - 2:28
    By performing
  • 2:32 - 2:37
    By performing wedding ceremonies.
  • 2:40 - 2:43
    By performing?
  • 2:45 - 2:51
    Ceremonies my wedding ceremonies
  • 2:56 - 3:04
    "Using Ramana Maharishi's
  • 3:04 - 3:06
    Inspired.
  • 3:06 - 3:08
    "Inspired words.
  • 3:08 - 3:13
    "Thank you again for this.
  • 3:13 - 3:18
    "Recently two family members
  • 3:18 - 3:27
    "have had to place... "
  • 3:27 - 3:29
    To face death.
  • 3:29 - 3:32
    "To face death.
  • 3:33 - 3:50
"This has brought a great opening of love
    in our family
  • 3:50 - 3:56
    "and also some fear.
  • 3:57 - 4:13
"I hope these questions will strike off.
  • 4:13 - 4:16
    Of this fear.
  • 4:18 - 4:29
"When my body dies, where can I go?
  • 4:30 - 4:35
"When my body dies where can I go?"
  • 4:35 - 4:44
    When the body dies,
then this question comes from whom?
  • 4:44 - 4:47
Even when you sleep you don't have a question.
  • 4:47 - 4:53
And this death removes all the questions.
  • 4:53 - 4:57
So there will be no question of questioning.
  • 4:57 - 5:02
When the body dies, everything dies, you see.
  • 5:03 - 5:12
And when your body dies where will you go?
  • 5:19 - 5:23
When my body dies, first of all,
    I don't understand this question.
  • 5:23 - 5:27
    The body is already dead.
  • 5:28 - 5:31
Body never lives because it's flesh
  • 5:31 - 5:35
and then it will be burnt away.
  • 5:35 - 5:40
And the body is always death.
  • 5:40 - 5:42
    The body is not living,
  • 5:42 - 5:47
Something else is living in the body
that is not going to die.
  • 5:47 - 5:51
    You have to understand this.
  • 5:51 - 5:56
    Then who are you?
  • 6:00 - 6:03
Who are you is the question.
  • 6:03 - 6:13
So if I say to you,
in answer to this question, I am That,
  • 6:14 - 6:17
    what will you understand?
  • 6:18 - 6:24
In answer to your question is I am That
  • 6:24 - 6:26
    And I understand.
  • 6:26 - 6:30
You can also say, there is no problem in this.
  • 6:30 - 6:34
    There's no problem.
  • 6:38 - 6:42
    Who am I? Question.
  • 6:42 - 6:47
You have never asked this question ,
  • 6:47 - 6:50
    you're never asked this question,
    simply you write,
  • 6:50 - 6:57
now you ask this question Who am I
    and wait for the answer.
  • 6:57 - 7:01
    Who am I?
  • 7:02 - 7:05
Put this question to your own self.
  • 7:05 - 7:09
    Nobody questions this, you see.
  • 7:09 - 7:11
So I am glad you have put this question
  • 7:11 - 7:13
    and wait for the answer.
  • 7:13 - 7:20
    You look for this question,
follow it and did you get the answer.
  • 7:20 - 7:26
It may be answered today or never.
  • 7:26 - 7:32
So you have to stay with this question Who am I.
  • 7:35 - 7:39
    Ssince your name is Satchitanand
  • 7:39 - 7:43
so you can easily find out the answer.
  • 8:01 - 8:07
"Dear Papaji, I am leaving for Boulder,
  • 8:17 - 8:21
    "the search is over.
  • 8:31 - 8:42
    "What freedom is arrived at,
then I thank you very much,
  • 8:42 - 8:48
"because I am returning with great success."
  • 8:48 - 8:51
    Shola.
  • 9:05 - 9:08
    So, I can only say
  • 9:08 - 9:11
if you are returning with this understanding
  • 9:11 - 9:13
    you can help your friends
  • 9:13 - 9:19
and other people in Boulder where you go.
  • 9:19 - 9:23
Thank you. Very few people can go successfully
  • 9:23 - 9:27
    after visiting this place.
  • 9:35 - 9:37
    It's my wife.
  • 9:37 - 9:39
    Very good.
  • 9:55 - 9:59
    My search is over.
  • 9:59 - 10:03
    My search is over.
  • 10:05 - 10:09
    So I'm glad. But people
    who are searching something
  • 10:09 - 10:12
and when they they are married,
  • 10:12 - 10:17
everybody says now my search is over.
  • 10:33 - 10:38
You told us to get married.
  • 10:44 - 10:49
The route is difficult, the road is difficult,
  • 10:49 - 10:54
that is written in the geographical books.
  • 10:54 - 10:59
It's difficult. But very few people
    can arrive at that place.
  • 10:59 - 11:06
And as much as they go in,
    there is further place,
  • 11:06 - 11:10
    and nobody has found
    the end of this place.
  • 11:10 - 11:13
    Therefore, thousands of years
  • 11:13 - 11:15
the people are trying and trying,
  • 11:15 - 11:21
but no one has found what is the depth of this.
  • 11:21 - 11:29
It looks like that it is not very deep,
    but it is very deep.
  • 11:32 - 11:38
So if you can help him,
    because he's a good boy,
  • 11:38 - 11:43
you can help him to find the depth.
  • 11:43 - 11:46
No one has found the depth of this.
  • 11:46 - 11:52
It looks that it is not very deep.
  • 11:53 - 11:56
Even the saints have been searching,
  • 11:56 - 11:58
    but they are not successful.
  • 11:58 - 12:03
    There are saints sitting here
    and they have not found.
  • 12:13 - 12:16
    - Rajini?
    - Rajini.
  • 12:32 - 12:40
"Thank you so much for giving me so much
  • 12:40 - 12:52
"to say it with the question Who am I.
  • 12:52 - 12:54
    "So this is the question
  • 12:54 - 13:04
"I did this yesterday for hours.
  • 13:11 - 13:19
    "This are my experience.
  • 13:23 - 13:28
    "This are my experience.
  • 13:28 - 13:36
"First experience is, when you told me
    to find out this.
  • 13:36 - 13:39
"And then I tried and I found that
  • 13:39 - 13:48
"this deep experience is deep peace
    in my mind,
  • 13:49 - 14:03
"and hence and between not of strong mind... "
  • 14:03 - 14:06
Attacks. A lot of strong mind attacks.
  • 14:06 - 14:10
"A lot of strong mind attacks
  • 14:10 - 14:30
"and who is also longing and burning fire."
  • 14:32 - 14:37
Burning fire what does it mean?
  • 14:37 - 14:43
What does it mean of your experience.
  • 14:43 - 14:50
A lot of different things came up.
  • 14:53 - 14:57
    Peace and mind attacks.
  • 14:57 - 15:00
    They came up.
  • 15:00 - 15:04
    And now there is silence.
  • 15:04 - 15:17
    "And may I stay permanently
    with this question further."
  • 15:18 - 15:21
I think when you find this,
  • 15:21 - 15:26
you yourself will like to go further and further,
  • 15:26 - 15:28
because it is so peaceful and lovely
  • 15:28 - 15:32
that you can't leave it all at once.
  • 15:32 - 15:37
You want to keep it with you and follow it
  • 15:37 - 15:41
And where it goes, the more craze
  • 15:41 - 15:45
for going further will be in your mind.
  • 15:45 - 15:52
So this I can advise, you carry on
    till you could do it.
  • 15:52 - 15:56
"I am very happy to be here Papaji,
  • 15:56 - 16:03
"for the first time I am very happy here
  • 16:03 - 16:11
"and laughing and teaching as you. Rajini.
  • 16:25 - 16:29
    "Om namah Shivaya,"
  • 16:37 - 16:43
So as you get some new experience
    you write to me,
  • 16:43 - 16:47
    wherever you are.
You would like to do it.
  • 16:47 - 16:50
    Good. I am happy.
  • 16:50 - 16:53
Where she stays? Where she lives?
  • 16:53 - 16:56
    She's from Germany.
  • 16:58 - 17:04
She's here in Nirmala's Guest House.
    And she's from Hamburg.
  • 17:13 - 17:17
    Gyaneshvar from Spain.
  • 17:20 - 17:32
    "Beloved Papaji. I have spent
the last 20 years of my life
  • 17:32 - 17:44
    "caring to improve myself
  • 17:44 - 17:56
"with all kind of practices and learnings.
  • 17:56 - 18:14
"I have been most of the time
    just busy with the non-essential.
  • 18:14 - 18:30
    "I came to Lucknow because
I did not know what to do with my life.
  • 18:30 - 18:40
"I did not know the purpose of my existence.
  • 18:45 - 18:56
"Being here with you I have bliss of that,
  • 18:56 - 19:11
"that is essential and that is to stabilize
    the peace,
  • 19:11 - 19:14
    "stabilized the peace,
  • 19:14 - 19:21
"that I find in satsang in here in Lucknow,
  • 19:21 - 19:28
"in the core of my being.
  • 19:28 - 19:37
"I thank you all so much,
  • 19:37 - 19:58
"so big thief for entering all my dreams
  • 19:58 - 20:17
    "and leaving me standing naked.
  • 20:17 - 20:22
"I never found myself naked before others
  • 20:22 - 20:26
"because people did not accept it.
  • 20:26 - 20:31
"But I am happy, even when I leave this place,
  • 20:31 - 20:34
    "I will remove the clothes,
  • 20:34 - 20:42
"it gives me for the first time most happiness
  • 20:42 - 20:47
"which no place in the world could ever give.
  • 20:47 - 20:54
"I thank you so much for letting my clothes away.
  • 20:54 - 21:09
"And drink straight from the bottle.
  • 21:12 - 21:16
    Gyaneshvar from Spain."
  • 21:16 - 21:23
Gyaneshvar, who gave you this name
    Gyaneshvar.
  • 21:23 - 21:26
    Osho.
  • 21:36 - 21:43
So what did you find out of this knowledge
  • 21:43 - 21:51
    of removing clothes
    and standing naked before everyone?
  • 21:51 - 21:54
What did you get out of it?
  • 21:54 - 22:00
And what you were holding in the hands
    when you were naked?
  • 22:06 - 22:12
And how much did you enjoy by holding it?
  • 22:19 - 22:27
Did you take Vaseline with you when you... ?
  • 22:31 - 22:34
When I enjoy, when I enjoy
    somebody's experience,
  • 22:37 - 22:41
    she doesn't like, she doesn't.
  • 22:41 - 22:48
She is very lucky to have
this kind of experience for read.
  • 22:48 - 22:54
In future you don't take away
this experience from me and throw away
  • 22:54 - 23:01
    because the experiencer
is just enjoying myself as I enjoy.
  • 23:01 - 23:07
So let both of us enjoy.
  • 23:09 - 23:11
    She always interfers.
  • 23:13 - 23:18
I hope you excuse for this kind of person.
  • 23:18 - 23:22
You can enjoy here, wherever you are,
  • 23:22 - 23:29
only you have to do away with,
    which your parents have taught,
  • 23:29 - 23:36
this society has taught to wear the two clothes
    which gives trouble.
  • 23:36 - 23:40
And when you go to remove your shirt and pant
  • 23:40 - 23:43
    and see you are happy.
  • 23:43 - 23:47
Everybody is happy for the first time they see,
  • 23:47 - 23:53
    because everyone is covering himself,
    which I don't like.
  • 23:57 - 24:01
    Do you agree with me?
  • 24:03 - 24:07
Don't be shy, don't be shy.
  • 24:07 - 24:12
    Everybody shies to give me
    the answer of this question.
  • 24:14 - 24:17
    Okay, yes.
  • 24:19 - 24:27
"And now please bless me, bless me,
  • 24:27 - 24:45
    "remove all kind of obstacles
  • 24:45 - 24:49
"which I am wearing around my body
  • 24:49 - 25:05
    "and what obstacles that hinder,
  • 25:05 - 25:10
    "obstacles that hinder me
  • 25:12 - 25:19
    "to realize the truth.
  • 25:19 - 25:26
    "and to recognize my freedom,
  • 25:26 - 25:33
    "freedom from my bondage,
  • 25:34 - 25:43
"from this kind of illusion. Viveka."
  • 26:06 - 26:08
    This is in your hand
    to remove all kind hindrances
  • 26:11 - 26:14
    to be happy and free.
  • 26:14 - 26:19
And that hindrances to be ashamed
    of the people
  • 26:19 - 26:22
who tell you do this and do that.
  • 26:22 - 26:25
    You don't listen to anyone.
  • 26:25 - 26:29
Only close your eyes and don't think,
  • 26:29 - 26:35
wherever you are and you are the happiest person
    in this world.
  • 26:35 - 26:38
    Remove everything that
you have been told to do
  • 26:38 - 26:43
by your parents and the society,
  • 26:43 - 26:45
and find out who you are.
  • 26:45 - 26:49
This question must stay with you.
  • 26:49 - 26:52
    Everybody told you,
    you are a young man,
  • 26:52 - 26:55
    you are a beautiful person,
  • 26:55 - 27:01
    not this, this everybody
is going to leave it here.
  • 27:01 - 27:05
So you have to find out who am I?
  • 27:05 - 27:08
    What is my nature?
  • 27:08 - 27:10
    Where will I return?
  • 27:10 - 27:15
    These questions you keep up
    just for one day only,
  • 27:15 - 27:23
and you are a most fortunate person
    in this world.
  • 27:23 - 27:28
    Just for 24 hours.
  • 27:32 - 27:38
And your name is also Viveka,
    to find out the truth,
  • 27:38 - 27:42
to find out who am I really.
  • 27:42 - 27:46
    Not what you are wearing.
  • 27:46 - 27:49
Not the body. Not the mind.
  • 27:49 - 27:56
    So you come prepared
    to answer this question tomorrow.
  • 28:05 - 28:07
    Sanatan.
  • 28:16 - 28:20
    "Beloved Papaji.
  • 28:20 - 28:35
"As every move in this life is predestined,
  • 28:35 - 28:40
"if every move in this life is predestined,
  • 28:40 - 28:59
    "there cannot be
    an individual karmic responsibility."
  • 29:21 - 29:26
    29.21 Some say that
this is a karmic binding on everyone
  • 29:26 - 29:31
that he has to do what is already written,
  • 29:31 - 29:36
that he is bound to do this thing
and not to do this thing.
  • 29:36 - 29:39
    Some people believe in this.
  • 29:39 - 29:46
So this is a belief, maybe true or not true,
    I cannot say.
  • 29:47 - 29:50
Maybe true for them who believe in it.
  • 29:50 - 29:55
May not be true who don't believe in it.
  • 29:55 - 29:59
So the proper answer of this question
  • 29:59 - 30:03
so far has not been given.
  • 30:03 - 30:08
To find out the answer of this,
    you can do it yourself.
  • 30:08 - 30:14
But if you teach this to others,
they are not going to believe it.
  • 30:14 - 30:22
So it should neither be the waking state,
    nor the sleeping state.
  • 30:22 - 30:25
    Neither waking nor dreaming.
  • 30:25 - 30:29
So at that time you find out Who am I
  • 30:29 - 30:34
and what I am going to do now.
  • 30:34 - 30:37
    You question to yourself.
  • 30:37 - 30:43
Because, first of all, this time which I tell you,
  • 30:43 - 30:46
    nobody arrives at this time
  • 30:46 - 30:50
and nobody questions at the proper time.
  • 30:50 - 30:54
When you are neither sleeping nor awake,
  • 30:54 - 30:59
at that time find out who am I.
  • 30:59 - 31:04
Just one day you try to do it.
  • 31:07 - 31:11
    And so a criminal
cannot be blamed for his crime.
  • 31:23 - 31:27
This is a bit difficult question to answer.
  • 31:29 - 31:34
Some believe it and some don't believe it.
  • 31:34 - 31:37
Some say the crime is committed
  • 31:37 - 31:41
because he had to do this crime
  • 31:41 - 31:47
at this particular place, in particular life,
    particular time.
  • 31:47 - 31:49
    He can't avoid it.
  • 31:49 - 31:52
And some people don't believe it.
  • 31:52 - 31:57
Difficult to say which is correct
    and which is incorrect.
  • 31:57 - 32:01
There's no truth of what is actually correct.
  • 32:01 - 32:04
    Is there truth?
  • 32:04 - 32:06
    Is there a truth?
  • 32:06 - 32:09
    What is true?
  • 32:09 - 32:14
Truth is neither this, neither believer,
    nor disbelief.
  • 32:14 - 32:17
So you can see, this you speak
  • 32:17 - 32:20
only for 8 hours or 10 hours in a day.
  • 32:20 - 32:26
When you are waking state you can have,
    or dreaming state,
  • 32:26 - 32:33
and apart from these two state
there is a third state also.
  • 32:33 - 32:37
When you are neither dreaming nor sleeping,
  • 32:37 - 32:42
at that time you question this, Who am I,
  • 32:42 - 32:47
that is going to be a correct answer.
  • 32:47 - 32:51
Everybody has got this time to question,
  • 32:51 - 32:55
to find out the answer to this question,
    Who am I.
  • 32:55 - 32:57
    Only during that time,
  • 32:57 - 33:05
you can have a correct answer,
    not otherwise.
  • 33:11 - 33:26
"And a saint need not be praised,
  • 33:26 - 33:32
"a saint need not be praised for his deed."
  • 33:34 - 33:37
So this rule has been fixed by people,
  • 33:37 - 33:41
    if somebody does this
    you have to praise him,
  • 33:41 - 33:46
    and if somebody doesn't,
    he should be rejected.
  • 33:46 - 33:48
This is fixed by those people.
  • 33:48 - 33:54
And this experience may be correct
    or may not be correct.
  • 33:54 - 33:59
All what we do is correct or not correct,
    nobody can say.
  • 33:59 - 34:04
This is fixed by the wise people
  • 34:04 - 34:08
    of that particular religion,
    they say this thing.
  • 34:09 - 34:13
As the Muslims, when they cut the goat
    on a particular date,
  • 34:13 - 34:17
    he said it's very honorable
  • 34:17 - 34:27
and this man will attain the very blissful life.
  • 34:27 - 34:30
And some people don't believe it here.
  • 34:30 - 34:34
So these rules have been fixed
    by the society,
  • 34:34 - 34:41
which is correct and which is incorrect
    cannot be said.
  • 34:41 - 34:44
Some people, when you like to do this thing
  • 34:44 - 34:49
and some people do not like
    what somebody is doing .
  • 34:49 - 34:51
So this is fixed by this society
  • 34:51 - 34:57
    according to the circumstances
    and place where he lives.
  • 34:57 - 35:01
And these rules have not come
    from the truth.
  • 35:01 - 35:04
Truth has no rules at all.
  • 35:04 - 35:07
Which is good and which is bad
  • 35:07 - 35:10
is fixed by the society and the man.
  • 35:10 - 35:17
Not that it may be true or not true
    cannot be said .
  • 35:18 - 35:26
    "Could you please comment."
  • 35:26 - 35:31
Comment, so I have done my comments to you.
  • 35:34 - 35:36
    What's the name?
  • 35:36 - 35:38
    Sanatan.
  • 35:40 - 35:43
    Sanatan. Okay, very good.
  • 35:55 - 36:07
"Dear Papaji. I don't know who and what I am."
  • 36:13 - 36:18
This is the very big question by you.
  • 36:39 - 36:45
"Mind watching mind keeps me in a prison.
  • 36:45 - 36:50
"Mind watching mind keeps me in a prison.
  • 36:53 - 37:05
    - "Mind watching... "
    - "I don't know who and what I am."
  • 37:15 - 37:19
    If you speak to people,
"I do not know who and what I am,"
  • 37:19 - 37:25
they will think what you are
    according to their intellect.
  • 37:25 - 37:28
And other people, if you say,
    "I do not know,'
  • 37:28 - 37:33
if you tell to a saint he will appreciate it.
  • 37:33 - 37:44
    And others will think that
    you are something uncommon.
  • 37:44 - 37:48
    But it's a good question.
  • 37:52 - 38:02
"And what kind of watching mind
    keeps me in a prison?"
  • 38:10 - 38:13
If you feel that you are in prison
  • 38:13 - 38:18
you will first of all try to get out of it.
  • 38:18 - 38:23
But this is a prison which people
    like to stay on here.
  • 38:23 - 38:28
Nobody wants to leave this prison
    and run away from it.
  • 38:28 - 38:30
    Everybody likes to stay.
  • 38:30 - 38:35
He thinks that I am enjoying in this prison,
  • 38:35 - 38:40
finally he will know that it was a mistake
  • 38:40 - 38:45
of a person to like the prison.
  • 38:45 - 38:50
    So better leave this prison.
  • 38:50 - 38:54
    Leave doesn't mean that
you have to run away from it.
  • 38:54 - 38:55
    Stay in it.
  • 38:55 - 38:58
    But what is happening,
  • 38:58 - 39:01
don't think that it is the truth.
  • 39:01 - 39:04
    It is truly happening.
  • 39:04 - 39:10
    So if you know this,
then you are not in the prison.
  • 39:12 - 39:36
    Inside, where is both
    arrogance and softness inside.
  • 39:54 - 39:56
    So it's a good question
    if you can ask,
  • 39:58 - 40:11
it is soft or there's both arrogance and softness.
  • 40:19 - 40:25
So you have found softness and arrogance.
  • 40:25 - 40:31
I want to deny both .
  • 40:35 - 40:41
If you deny both of these ,
if it is arrogance or soft,
  • 40:41 - 40:46
I think you are a wise man if you could do it.
  • 40:46 - 40:49
    But nobody does it.
  • 40:56 - 41:03
My love to do is so impure.
  • 41:03 - 41:09
    My love is so impure.
  • 41:11 - 41:20
My love is so impure to say I love you
    would not be true.
  • 41:30 - 41:35
If you are not true to say that I love you,
  • 41:35 - 41:47
then perhaps you will be put
in too much trouble in this life itself
  • 41:47 - 41:50
if you don't approve what I say.
  • 41:50 - 41:55
First of all, thought I say,
very few people could do it
  • 41:55 - 41:58
and those who do it are very lucky person
  • 41:58 - 42:02
and they will be happy in the end.
  • 42:02 - 42:05
And those who don't listen to me
  • 42:05 - 42:07
and don't follow what I say,
  • 42:07 - 42:12
the result is that they will be hanged.
  • 42:12 - 42:19
    They will be hanged. A
    nd this is not untrue.
  • 42:19 - 42:27
    Hanging means that
they will be unhappy now and ever.
  • 42:27 - 42:29
    You can try one day.
  • 42:29 - 42:37
    Because I tell everyone that
    you are yourself truth itself.
  • 42:37 - 42:40
Don't follow what the others say,
  • 42:40 - 42:42
"This is the truth," don't believe.
  • 42:42 - 42:51
You have to such the truth here and now,
    then you will be happy.
  • 42:51 - 42:56
Nobody is happy because they follow
  • 42:56 - 43:00
which somebody has told them already,
  • 43:00 - 43:08
maybe some guru or somebody else,
    they start following.
  • 43:08 - 43:12
Therefore, nobody is happy in the world.
  • 43:12 - 43:14
    So you don't follow.
  • 43:14 - 43:22
In the sleep state are you happy or not happy?
  • 43:22 - 43:24
    - Very happy.
    - Happy, yeah.
  • 43:24 - 43:29
Who told you to be happy like this.
  • 43:29 - 43:33
    This is your nature
and you don't think of anything
  • 43:33 - 43:37
that somebody has told you to do anything
  • 43:37 - 43:42
    which others are doing,
    you are in trouble.
  • 43:42 - 43:44
    Therefore, don't listen to anyone.
  • 43:44 - 43:49
You sleep when others are awake
as you do in the night.
  • 43:49 - 43:52
You can try this in the morning,
  • 43:52 - 43:57
what others are doing you don't do.
  • 43:57 - 44:03
    Just try for one day
    and tomorrow you meet again.
  • 44:14 - 44:20
"Trust and respect are what I feel for you.
  • 44:20 - 44:25
"Trust and respect are what I feel for you.
  • 44:25 - 44:27
"Dearest Papaji, can you help me
  • 44:27 - 44:31
"to love and surrender to you, to that .
  • 44:31 - 44:34
    "Thanking you. Namito."
  • 44:34 - 44:37
    Namito.
  • 44:41 - 44:44
    What's the meaning of Namito?
  • 44:44 - 44:47
    Humbleness.
  • 44:49 - 44:51
    Namito.
  • 44:55 - 45:07
    If it was Namita,
then it would have been humble, only humble,
  • 45:07 - 45:10
And the Namito, because it's a female name,
  • 45:10 - 45:18
    therefore you call humbly, humbly.
  • 45:18 - 45:24
    They said no more humbly,
    of your humbly and humble.
  • 45:24 - 45:34
    So numble and numbly.
    So very simple grammar.
  • 45:37 - 45:43
    Namita should have been,
    when you are masculine.
  • 45:43 - 45:47
    And the Namito means feminine.
  • 45:47 - 45:52
So people who know the grammar,
  • 45:52 - 45:57
when you say, "I am Namito,"
    they will laugh at you.
  • 45:57 - 46:02
Tell them Namita, "I am Namita."
  • 46:02 - 46:05
Yeah, that means I have something extra
  • 46:05 - 46:09
    which the woman don't have.
  • 46:26 - 46:41
    "Dearest Papaji. I request for
    a moment of silence."
  • 46:44 - 46:47
    Who is this person?
  • 46:47 - 46:49
    Peter.
  • 46:55 - 46:58
He is in the back there, under Krishna.
  • 47:02 - 47:10
"I request for a moment of silence.
  • 47:25 - 47:28
    Robert Adam?
  • 47:28 - 47:31
    Robert Adam.
  • 47:44 - 47:46
    - Peter, no?
    - Peter.
  • 47:47 - 47:52
    - Not here?
    - He is in the back row Papaji.
  • 48:23 - 48:27
If you can keep silent just for one minute
  • 48:27 - 48:31
and this silence is not only good for Adam,
  • 48:31 - 48:37
it is good for everyone, all society,
  • 48:37 - 48:39
everybody who lives in this world
  • 48:39 - 48:42
    and who's not even living,
  • 48:42 - 48:48
they will be happy if you can keep quiet
for one second in your life.
  • 48:48 - 48:52
So better practice it now, just now,
  • 48:52 - 48:56
and you will see nobody's unhappy.
  • 48:56 - 49:02
    People look unhappy
    when you are also unhappy.
  • 49:02 - 49:05
In the night when you sleep,
  • 49:05 - 49:10
    say 10:00 p.m. to morning 5:00 a.m.
  • 49:10 - 49:14
who is happy and who's unhappy for you.
  • 49:14 - 49:17
Everybody is happy because you are happy.
  • 49:17 - 49:22
You are not thinking of anything
    or doing anything.
  • 49:22 - 49:29
So, you can find this time
    of great blessedness now,
  • 49:29 - 49:34
and if you don't, you cannot find it.
  • 49:34 - 49:39
So always you try to stay in this state,
  • 49:39 - 49:42
then you will find nobody is happy,
  • 49:42 - 49:45
no one is happy in the world
  • 49:45 - 49:50
and there's no world at all, first of all.
  • 49:50 - 49:53
No world, because when you wake up,
  • 49:53 - 49:58
the people tell you this is your friend
    and this is your wife,
  • 49:58 - 50:01
then you listen to them and practice it
  • 50:01 - 50:05
and suffer or enjoy whatever they tell you.
  • 50:05 - 50:08
Not your own experience, you see.
  • 50:08 - 50:12
So you do your own experience
  • 50:12 - 50:16
    and don't believe anybody else.
  • 50:16 - 50:20
When others are sleeping you wake up.
  • 50:20 - 50:25
Everybody in the world is sleeping.
  • 50:25 - 50:32
Therefore, you wake up, you see.
You don't worry. Let them sleep.
  • 50:34 - 50:39
    So this is very simple
    but nobody followed the simpleness.
  • 50:39 - 50:42
    Everybody's following somebody else.
  • 50:42 - 50:46
They know that they are going to fall
    into the ditch,
  • 50:46 - 50:49
even then they are following knowing it
  • 50:49 - 50:52
that nobody is happy in the world,
  • 50:52 - 50:59
but they are doing the same thing
    which gives unhappiness to everybody.
  • 50:59 - 51:06
    So my dear friend,
what others are doing you don't do.
  • 51:06 - 51:10
And don't trouble yourself to find happiness
  • 51:10 - 51:17
    with these jobs which are
    giving them unhappiness.
  • 51:17 - 51:22
    You stand yourself.
Let them do whatever they want to do.
  • 51:22 - 51:26
And don't trouble them and don't advise them.
  • 51:37 - 51:40
    Flora.
  • 51:41 - 51:44
There's the bad word in Hindi.
  • 51:44 - 51:48
In Hindi it is a bad word.
  • 52:01 - 52:03
    I'm not laughing at you.
  • 52:03 - 52:09
I'm laughing at the meaning of your name.
  • 52:12 - 52:16
    What is this word?
  • 52:16 - 52:19
    - Flora?
    - Flora.
  • 52:22 - 52:25
Flora is alright because you did...
  • 52:25 - 52:30
If F is silent then it's not good name.
  • 52:30 - 52:38
If F is silent, if F is taken away
    from the name F,
  • 52:38 - 52:41
then owned it becomes a bad word.
  • 52:41 - 52:47
But with the F, it has saved this word.
  • 52:49 - 52:53
She knows but with the meaning
    and she's laughing,
  • 52:53 - 52:56
    and nobody else knows.
  • 53:03 - 53:08
"This is my second visit to Lucknow
  • 53:17 - 53:25
    "to be the continuation
of the deepest blessing in my life.
  • 53:36 - 53:46
"Being in your grace which flows,
  • 53:46 - 53:58
    "my life at each moment
of the most in expected ways,
  • 53:58 - 54:15
"in peace, in respect of whatever needs
    to take place
  • 54:21 - 54:26
"prevails whatever needs to take place prevails
  • 54:26 - 54:39
    "slowly erasing doubts
  • 54:43 - 54:53
    "and quieting the mind
  • 54:54 - 55:07
"in deeper silence within is taking over.
  • 55:07 - 55:11
"Deeper silence inward is taking over.
  • 55:11 - 55:30
"It is infinite spaciousness in stronger
  • 55:30 - 55:34
"than the way of the mind and the body.
  • 55:34 - 55:37
"I thank you very much, beloved Papaji,
  • 55:37 - 55:49
"for constantly reflecting that to me.
  • 55:51 - 55:58
"In gratitude can I please sing a song
  • 55:58 - 56:11
    "with my friend Soma Devi
    just now before everybody."
  • 56:34 - 56:36
    Same one.
  • 56:45 - 56:48
    (Sings "I Am Sailing.")
  • 57:04 - 57:08
    Gopi would have liked this.
    Where is Gopi?
  • 57:32 - 57:35
    Good song, no?
  • 58:20 - 58:23
    Same country?
  • 58:53 - 58:56
    58.53 Again.
  • 59:01 - 59:03
    Again.
  • 59:04 - 59:07
    (Sings "I Am Sailing" again)
  • 61:29 - 61:34
    1.01.28 "Beloved Papaji.
    My mind already tricks me
  • 61:34 - 61:41
"with all the people in the world.
  • 61:41 - 61:50
"And that I wanted to say to you
  • 61:50 - 61:59
"about the journey I have had
  • 61:59 - 62:03
    "in coming back to you
  • 62:03 - 62:16
"and the teaching given me a long the way.
  • 62:16 - 62:32
"But sitting here, sitting here writing to you
    I left everything,
  • 62:32 - 62:47
"and the only thing my heart wants to say is
  • 62:47 - 62:57
"I'm so happy to be back to meet you Papaji.
  • 62:57 - 63:03
"I thank you very much for the teaching
  • 63:03 - 63:11
"and thanking you for the journey I had
  • 63:11 - 63:32
    "and thanking you for bringing
the three of us back to you. Keri."
  • 63:42 - 63:45
    Keri is male or female?
  • 63:46 - 63:50
    Both. Keri.
  • 63:53 - 64:02
    In Hindi Keri is female.
    And Kara is male.
  • 64:02 - 64:06
    Kara if somebody says.
  • 64:07 - 64:15
    But therefore, the name,
    people generally take the personality
  • 64:15 - 64:22
of the person from the world
    are from the name.
  • 64:22 - 64:24
Anyway, you can sing the song
  • 64:24 - 64:28
and from the voice I can check.
  • 64:28 - 64:34
Voices of the males are different
    and the female is different.
  • 64:34 - 64:36
So you have to sing some song
  • 64:36 - 64:42
so that people may remove their doubts because...
  • 64:52 - 64:55
1.04.52 No song comes to my mind.
  • 64:55 - 64:57
    No, no, song will come.
  • 64:57 - 65:00
When you sing, when you sing the song will come.
  • 65:04 - 65:06
    Otherwise, it will not come.
  • 65:10 - 65:15
Generally, the woman, they don't sing immediately.
  • 65:15 - 65:21
    They want many people
to request them to sing, then they sing.
  • 65:21 - 65:24
So this is my experience so far.
  • 65:24 - 65:29
    But this not good experiences.
  • 65:33 - 65:36
    [singing]
  • 66:17 - 66:21
    1.06.17 Which is the country?
  • 66:21 - 66:25
    England.
  • 66:30 - 66:32
    From England.
  • 66:33 - 66:37
ANd she is 50% England, yes,
  • 66:37 - 66:42
she lived for many years in England.
  • 66:46 - 66:49
    This I can't read.
  • 66:54 - 66:56
    From Sangeeta.
  • 66:56 - 66:58
    Sangeeta.
  • 67:00 - 67:05
His wife Papaji, this is his wife.
  • 67:09 - 67:13
I did it. They are from?
  • 67:13 - 67:18
He's asking if you want her to read it?
  • 67:18 - 67:26
He's asking if you want her to read it?
    It's her letter.
  • 67:26 - 67:28
    - You're English?
    - French.
  • 67:28 - 67:31
    She's French.
  • 67:31 - 67:34
    And she's English?
  • 67:34 - 67:36
    He's French and she's English.
  • 67:36 - 67:40
It makes a good... French and English.
  • 67:42 - 67:45
    Next year?
  • 67:46 - 67:51
One month. One month in this year.
  • 67:52 - 67:58
    - Where? Which place?
    - Here.
  • 68:08 - 68:10
    We can make arrangment.
  • 68:10 - 68:15
    You speak to Bharatmitra
    because he has some experience.
  • 68:15 - 68:19
And then midwife is there, she's very good.
  • 68:35 - 68:37
    Okay, you sing.
  • 68:37 - 68:40
Because you must always be singing,
  • 68:40 - 68:43
    the child inside is listening,
  • 68:43 - 68:47
    therefore don't do anything
    which is objectionable.
  • 68:47 - 68:50
Child is listening, you may not know,
  • 68:50 - 68:54
but I know child is listening
    what you speak.
  • 68:54 - 68:57
And child knows what you are doing.
  • 68:57 - 69:01
    So during these nine months
    you must be very careful
  • 69:01 - 69:07
    about what you are doing
and what not you are doing.
  • 69:07 - 69:12
Slowly start speaking to the child.
  • 69:12 - 69:22
    And then shape your child,
what you want him or her to live the life.
  • 69:22 - 69:28
Okay, you can sing this song now
    to all of us.
  • 69:32 - 69:38
Any song that you are expertised.
  • 69:43 - 69:48
Anything that you have been singing.
  • 70:46 - 70:49
    1.10.46 [Singing]
  • 72:55 - 72:58
1.12.55 "Dear Papaji. Thank you so much
  • 72:58 - 73:18
    "for your infinite dedication
    towards our awakening.
  • 73:22 - 73:43
"I find myself often reaching towards
    the goal of freedom.
  • 73:51 - 73:55
"Can you help me to let go.
  • 73:59 - 74:03
    "With deep appreciation.
  • 74:09 - 74:11
    "Arina."
  • 74:14 - 74:17
    Arina or Ariana?
  • 74:17 - 74:20
Arina, what is the meaning of Arina?
  • 74:20 - 74:23
    She was the sun goddess.
  • 74:23 - 74:26
    Sun goddess, Arina.
  • 74:26 - 74:32
    - Which language?
    - In Sumerian.
  • 74:32 - 74:37
In Sumerian times, in old times,
  • 74:37 - 74:41
    in the Middle East, Sumerians.
  • 75:03 - 75:06
    "Goal of freedom.
  • 75:09 - 75:18
"Can you help me to let go."
  • 75:24 - 75:27
It's very easy to let go of everything,
  • 75:27 - 75:33
    because when you sleep
    everything is gone.
  • 75:33 - 75:36
When you are sleeping, everything is gone,
  • 75:36 - 75:41
    say from 10 p.m. to morning 5 a.m.
  • 75:41 - 75:45
nobody's yours and you don't belong to anybody.
  • 75:45 - 75:53
So if you want to live that time, that life,
    you can do it now,
  • 75:53 - 75:56
also you did it some hours before.
  • 75:56 - 76:01
Why can't you do it now?
  • 76:01 - 76:04
Don't be attached with any person,
  • 76:04 - 76:10
because nobody is going to go with you.
  • 76:10 - 76:15
Make that friend which is with you always,
  • 76:15 - 76:19
and will follow you wherever you go.
  • 76:19 - 76:25
So this is the advice which I give to everyone.
  • 76:25 - 76:29
So you can do and if you can do
  • 76:29 - 76:39
    you will be singing always
the songs of love and peace
  • 76:39 - 76:43
and you can give us some songs
  • 76:43 -
    so that we will appreciate
that you will be living this kind of life always.
  • Not Synced
Last time you told me that
    you will sing a song,
  • Not Synced
but then you were over joyed
    in the ecstasy,
  • Not Synced
so I kept quiet and everybody was quiet
  • Not Synced
    and they postponed for today.
  • Not Synced
And you have to sing today a beautiful song
  • Not Synced
which they will hear and close their eyes
  • Not Synced
and try to find out in that moment
    who really they are.
  • Not Synced
If you open the eyes, you can do anything,
  • Not Synced
accept fake love with other people
    who will leave you soon.
  • Not Synced
So make a friendship with that one
  • Not Synced
who doesn't leave you any time.
  • Not Synced
So you give us a description of that time
    and now itself
  • Not Synced
and let us enjoy your song.

that the birds who have returned home
  • Not Synced

    1.30.13 He hasn't come?

    1.38.41 Chandi Devi has come?
  • Not Synced
I will sing her song. (Singing)
  • Not Synced
    (Another person sings a song)
  • Not Synced
    English or Hindi? English?
  • Not Synced
    Haven't played in 14 years.
  • Not Synced
    (Singing)
  • Not Synced
Can you know what she is speaking?
  • Not Synced
    Not really.
