Lo: I didn't know

We are stoked that you're here!

We gave you guys all an update

on basically our whole lives.

We actually had something planned

for the last episode...

Lo: But then we just kept talking about our updates-

Sarah: We were just chit-chattin!

Lo: It was fun!

Sarah: Even though Lo and I were

living together in Hawaii, I feel like

we actually didn't get to chat a lot.

Lo: It's hard when the kids,

you know, like

Sarah: Yeah...

Lo: You're with kids and then you

we had like stuff going on-

Sarah: Yeah-

Lo: All of the time.

Sarah: Well and I feel like

even just by-by 9 PM, 9:30 PM,

when we'd get them in bed,

'cause it was always later night.

It was either

yeah

mindless movie watching or

we'd just all go to bed.

or like-

Lo: Yes.

Sarah: 'Cause we were so toasted

from the sun,

honestly.

Lo: It's like, the best when you just

feel so tired that you're just like-

[Pretend Sleeping]

Sarah: Yeah.

So it feels good to just chit-chat.

LOTS of life updates.

I'm ALSO having a girl!

Lo: Whoohoo!

I freaked the freak out!

Sarah: So crazy!

It's actually hilarious

because

Lauren, at my-when we did a

gender reveal with all the friends,

which-

did not go very well [laughs]

I will say [keeps laughing]

Can we talk about that later?

It was slightly confusing,

and slightly not...great...

and like

maybe kids almost got a dart in the head

like

it just did not

work very well, but

it was still really fun.

um

Next time we should just do

an adults-only, um, darts.

Lo: Yes, and we needed more powder

to see which ones-

Sarah: NOBODY GOT HURT!

I just wanna preface that, but,

it was, uh, the stress of them getting hurt.

Lo: Yeah, it was scary.

Sarah: Anyway, didn't think about that.

I kinda thought the kids would play,

jump on the tramp, but

they were ALL into it, so...

Um, anyway, but at my

the gender reveal we did

for our friends in Hawaii,

Lo was like,

"It's gotta be a boy, because it's just-

we're pregnant two weeks apart,

it would just be too good

if they're both girls"-

Lo: It would be too good to be true-

Sarah: And that's not gonna happen,

I was like, already KNOWING what it was-

and I just wanted to be like

[Shrieks]

But, anyway, like I said,

gender reveal kinda failed,

so at the end I just ended up being like,

"YEAH, IT'S A GIRL!"

[laughing] like, I shoulda just said it

from the beginning.

But it was-it was really fun,

everyone was...so stoked,

Lo was freakin' out,

'cause now we're having girls

two weeks apart.

Lo: So crazy.

We've never had babies together,

[crosstalk] Lo: and now they're the SAME GENDER-

[crosstalk] Sarah: and now they're like, on top of each other.

Lo: that's like SISTERS!

Sarah [laughing]: Yeah, it's so crazy-

Lo: It's so amazing, 'cause like

I remember my girl cousins,

Sarah: Yeah-

Lo: like being that close to them,

Sarah: Yeah-

Lo: and just, like, it was the best.

Sarah: Yeah. And hopefully-

hopefully we are like

the type that will just

always be with each other,

for like, the rest of our lives,

so like our

kids don't have a choice-

Lo: Yeah, they like,

HAVE to grow up together-

Sarah: but to be friends.

'Cause, I feel like, now,

especially-I don't know

if this is how you-you are, but,

I felt like my cousins were

my best friends,

Lo: Yes-

Sarah: 'cause we would see them

sometimes once or twice a week,

and we would hang out with them,

constantly.

Lo: Yeah.

Sarah: And then we like

all got older,

and I see them like

twice a YEAR now.

Lo: It's too-it's too spread apart.

Sarah: And I'm like, wait,

what is that?

Lo: I know, I HATE it!

Sarah: Like I hope that's not our kids, but-

um,

yeah, we're both so stoked!

Lo: Yayyy!

Sarah: Two baby girls!

Lo: I was FREAKING out!

Sarah: Yeah?

Lo: Um, when you-did you-

'cause-

you thought it was a girl at first?

Sarah: Mmhmm.

Lo: And then you flipped-

Sarah: Yeah.

Lo: to being-

you thought it was a boy.

Sarah: I was like-

50/50.

Like I convinced myself

of like, this is TOTALLY 50/50 now.

When I hit my second trimester,

my cravings, like,

kinda just shifted-I just

started feeling better,

and it was like,

"Well, I'm like-wanting

mac and cheese all the time,

and nacho cheese, like I

wanted with Jack," and like,

just kinda started

getting those thoughts of like,

"I don't know what this baby is!

This is TOTALLY 50/50!"

Um,

But in the very beginning,

I was like,

if you would've asked me,

I would've been like,

"100% this is another girl."

Lo: Yeah...yeah.

Sarah: And then-

I just need to stick to what I think.

Lo: You always are right in the beginning!

Sarah: So this time I said,

on the video,

I was like, "I am

NOT flip-flopping this time!"

Because EVERY TIME, at the beginning,

I was RIGHT,

and then I FLIPPED it

for the gender reveal video!

Lo: Yes...yeah...

[both laughing]

Sarah: And so this time I was like,

"NO, I am STICKING with girl,

it's a GIRL!"

And then Stair guessed "Boy",

so...

Lo: Oh yeah-

Sarah: So he- he was like,

fully thinking it was a girl,

and then flipped, and was like,

"No, I think it's actually a boy,

it's gonna shock us..."

Whatever.

I would've been more shocked

if it was a boy-

Lo: Yeah...

Sarah: for sure.

Lo: yeah.

Sarah: But-

either way, I was like,

"Sunny's gonna be sandwiched

in between boys,"

or like,

"have a sister close," but,

Jack is just meant to, like,

[laughs]

be the big brother.

Lo: Yeah!

Sarah: He's SO cute with all the girls.

Lo: I mean, that's what we had:

two girls, one boy-

Sarah: Yeah!

Lo: it's the best.

Sarah: I think the dynamic is-

Lo: The protector-

Sarah: is really awesome.

It makes me excited

because I see how much, like,

Stella and Ozzie love Jack-

Lo: Yeah

Sarah: And I'm just like,

"Aw, they'll-they're gonna, like,

have an older brother

lookin' out for them-

Lo: Yeah-

Sarah: and, it'll be great."

Lo: Yeah-

Sarah: It'll be awesome.

Lo: Wasn't your best cousin a guy?

Sarah: Yes-

Lo: Yeah-

Sarah: Yes.

[inhales]

Yeah.

I w-I was sandwiched

in between two boys,

so I didn't really have an option.

But-

it was like

THEY wanted to hang out,

with me, which is-

so fun, like, either way.

It's great, so-

[inhales]

Yeah, we're so excited.

Lo: Amazing.

Sarah: So crazy.

I really did think I was gonna be like

the boy mom. But like-

Lo: It's-That's the weirdest part-

Sarah: when I had Sunny,

it's like, well the rest

are gonna be boys, probably,

Lo: The weirdest part for me

is that now you're gonna have

more girls than boys.

Sarah: Yeah, it trips me-yeah!

And, like, we're more of a

girl family now.

Like it's just-it's weird!

Because I just started with a boy,

and I was like,

growing up-

Lo: In our friend group, it's like-

notoriously whatever you start with,

THAT is what you have.

Sarah: You start with this, and that's what you have!

[both laughing]

Sarah: No, it's so true, like,

and so I just was expecting-

Lo: Yeah-

Sarah: Sunny was a huge shock

in that way, too,

because I was like, "Oh, I'm for sure

gonna just have another boy."

And then it was a girl,

and I'm like, "WHOA-

I make GIRLS?"

[laughing]

Like, I didn't know!

Lo: WHAAA-??

Sarah: And then another one, so-

it'll be really fun, but...

Glad everyone knows, and...

Lo: Yep-

Sarah: Really happy for that-

[both laughing]

No more P, no more H

They're gonna be like tell us the name until...

We do have two names that we're -

are in the top

They're both very different and so I-

but I love them both

I don't know what to do with that

And I'm like kinda jealous of you

cause you like...know the name

And that's how we kind of were with-

with Jack and Sunny

It was right after the gender reveal

We knew;
we knew exactly what the name was

once we found out the gender

and this one's the only one

that I'm like...

I dont know...

we're between two

So...

Yeah.

and the middle name is gonna be

chosen-

the middle name will be chosen by Derik

Sarah: If you-

Anyway, I gave him free rein

for this middle name

I just have to okay it

and I'm fine with it

Lo: Yeah

Sarah: It just can't be one that I'm like

Lo: No... [agreeing]

Sarah: That is absolutely terrible

Lo: That's how I feel

'cause we- we did both

my family's names for middle names

Sarah: Mhmm

Lo: on the first two

so I was like, yeah!

You can decide the name for this one

Sarah: And I- I'm fully

100% okay with that.

I really don't think that...

the middle name matters that much

Lo: But what's funny is...

Stella keeps saying...

that she wants to name this baby's

middle name, "Heart"

Lo: because her middle name is, "Heart"

and it actually sounds

really cute with this baby

but Ozzy's like,

"no!!"

Sarah: yeah, you couldn't do that to Oz

No I could never do that

Lo: Yeah, 'cause you can't name two

with the same middle name

and one not

I'm like...

But she always gets so jealous of Heart

Because it's just...

It's a heart right?

Sarah: Yeah... yeah!

I know it's so funny, but it's

like really...

no one...

like I forget my middle name sometimes

I'm like, oh!

Whatever, doesn't matter

Lo: It's just not really used

so, it's like...

it matters 'cause it like...

can be meaningful

Sarah: yeah!

but at the same time it's like...

It's not SUPER detrimental

Sarah: yeah

and we both agree on like the two NAME names

so that's like

what's important

like we're fine either way

with the NAME name

so that's all-

and we have been that way

with the other two too

Lo: yeah

Sarah: so it's fine

the middle name I really don't care

so I'm like

Lo: yeah

It's like somebody-

I was feeling that way the whole time

so, you know how I always-

like you're for sure having a boy.

like if I'm having a girl you're having a boy

Right before you went to Maddie's house

Sarah: You found out?

Lo: no!! I had an inkling because...

what happened was

Sarah: you saw the shark

Lo: no I didn't see anything!

"you saw it!"

[laughter]

Lo: I was sitting on the couch

and you were

discussing with Derik like...

what you wanted-

if you wanted to tell the kids first

Sarah: I muffed it up I remember

Lo: and you said...

"if we tell the kids its a girl..."

Sarah: or a boy

Lo: "OR it's a boy"

[laughter]

Sarah: I did do that!

Lo: and there was a slight pause

and I was like...

did she?

and I was like, she knows I'm here

Sarah: I recovered well, but it was bad

Lo: yeah and there was a pause enough

for me to be like

is it a girl?

Sarah: Yeah.

cuz I forgot you were in the room

cuz we were talking about it.

Lo: I was like- Not gonna like say anything-

Sarah: Yes.

Lo: And I was not gonna let myself

like get super excited about a girl

cuz I'm like if-

Sarah: If it's- yeah.

Lo: If it is a girl like-

If its a boy or a girl, I'm stoked

but I like-

Sarah: I fully remember that and

in the moment I was like: "Oh, crap."

and then went "Aurr, boyy"

cuz I realized you were in there.

[laughter]

Lo: So there was a moment of like-

like I kind of got like excited like

oh my gosh are we having the same gender

and then...

umm...

but I stuck to my original guess

because I was like this is only fair,

(Sarah): this is only fair

'cuz if I swap now, that's unfair

(Sarah): Yeah

Thats' not..

(laughs)

(Sarah): That's not fair.

(laughs)

(Sarah): I actually

had a real problem with that.

We were at my mom's house..

Lo: Yeah, how have your kids not

said anything to them?

Sarah: Jack..

Did you know that

Derek's parents were trying

to get it out of Jack,

all of yesterday.

They were asking him question after question

Trying to trick him into telling them.

(Lo): No way

And he just went silent,

every time,

and, would not tell.
(Jo): What? Howw?

And then he was like,

"Dad, I did it".

Like he was over there, and, he's like,

"I didn't tell them. I didn't tell them"

Like I kept the secret,

but they were trying to get it out of him.

Like, STOP.

You know we have the date

for the gender reveal set.

Stop.

Sarah: Anyway, but

Sunny hasn't mentioned it.

I think she still is at that point

where she doesn't fully

understand it.

So she's not like..

..I mean, Jack is literally like a lock box.

Jo: Oh, we're.. by the way,

we're recording this

before Sarah has told her family.

That's why we're talking about this.

Cuz, they're gonna be confused like,

"Don't they already know?"

Sarah: My family, at this point, does not know.
