kids you know when you have a birthday

have you seen how they like a birthday

cake they take a light from something

and they put it onto a dry candle and

then that candle lights up you

understand

you seen it yeah what happens is the

candle is wet

what happens if that candle is wet and

you keep putting a lighter to it to make

it lighter what happens

it won't light you know so what is that

wetness that we could have right now in

the gurdwara what if our candle is wet

right now

and we can't light it the guru's got the

light here

everybody's got the light gurus shining

with that light

they've come here to pass on the light

to us but what if

we are full of maya and our mind is here

our body is here but our mind is not

here

the candle won't lie if it's wet you

can't

catch the guru's light if your mind is

not here

you all know the candle won't light if

it's if it's wet

saying with us if our mind is wet with

maya

if our mind is absorbed in the rang this

kacha

of maya the illusion it won't listen

and because it won't listen then the

guru can't light it on fire

then we go home and we see i didn't

learn nothing

both sides one who doesn't teach and the

one

who doesn't listen when i'm sitting here

so we have to be careful some people are
