Einstein MS Tour by Class of 2025 WEB Leaders

Einstein Class of 2025 WEB leaders give a building tour of the recently completed Einstein Middle School in Shoreline School District. This video was created for students and families to watch prior to the return of some students for hybrid learning on April 26th, 2021.

All together: Hi!!!

So we're going to be doing a tour of
the school

so you guys can see
everything that is new.

Yeah come see everything Einstein has!

Woohoo! We're excited to have you!

We're entering the courtyard.

So this is the Einstein courtyard.

Gabby what are you doing?

Hi! Oh my God.
Okay, ready?

This is where we came in from.

Um and we're gonna go this way
towards the classrooms.

(music playing)

This is your tech room.

You're gonna be using it for
computer science and

for your "Show It" 6th grade
elective class.

In each zone we have
a different pair of bathrooms.

So this is the female bathroom,
this is the bathroom for all,

this is the water fountain.
(laughter)

And this is the male bathroom.

So this is our shared learning space.

Unfortunately we can't use it
because of COVID,

but typically we'd gather here and
learn together.

Probably why it's called a
shared learning space.

And then if you come over here.

So we look out here, this is a nice
outlook onto the coutyard.

There's another tour going on.

(music playing)

Oh hey!

This is the robotics & engineering room.
(inaudible)

Oh wow thank you!

Here's my friend the robot.
(laughter)

We have a whole bunch of those.

Um. The 3D printers,
we got a laser cutter.

I'm gonna get it installed Friday.

Oh my.

We've got power tools and
that's a force tester.

So isn't that a wonderful,
beautiful space?

So...

So this is the lunch room,
known as the commons.

This is where you eat lunch,

but this year we're not gonna use
it cause you know it's half days so

(music playing)

(inaudible).
This is the sunken game room.

This hallway leads to our main office and
the counseling office.

Yes. Okay so this
is the hydration station.

You can fill up your water bottle
here again.

And yeah you just have to bring
your own water bottle to school.

Okay?

This is our band room.
This is where you store (instruments).

So you know how like in elementary school
you used to go to portables

to do you band and orchestra stuff?

So now you have your very own room,
dedicated spaces.

(music playing).

It's really dark in..ahh
oh my gosh, that was really scary

(laughter)

So this is the athletic wing.

This right here, this is actually the
floor from our our building which
is really cool.

This is the gymnasium.

This is the main gym
you can see right here.

This is the main gym.

It is where we hold sporting events
and assemblies.

The old floors continue on.

As you walk down the hall
there are more bathrooms.

whisper voice: bathroom

This is also another classroom
that will be used.

And this right here is a multipurpose room

(That sounds weird)

and there is just a whole bunch of
other stuff--yoga and weights.

This is the auxiliary gym.
It's a smaller gym.

Yeah.

(music playing)

Okay so we're back again here
at the field.

Do like a little circle.

Woohoo!

Alright.

Those doors lead from the commons
out to the field.

Alright.

and here's the field
(overlapping chatter)

Of course there'll be a new field
by the end of May

where you guys can go out on.

So there's the stage that can be
used for many different things.

We're gonna go upstairs
to the library and the second level.

This is the commons from the
second story landing so very fun.

Let's go this way.

We're about to enter the library.

Um so there's lots of things that will
happen here at the library

like book talks and clubs
and you can check out books.

And you might even have some
classes in the library or you know...

Yeah this is our librarian
and then there's Miss Leach.

Yay!

Pretty library and there's
so many books you can check out.

And you're gonna have
lots of classes here

and this really big whiteboard.

And down there is the entrance
to the courtyard.

This looks out to the parking lot.

It looks best from the right side.

And this is um a thing that
Mr. ...

Mr. Holland made this during
our Zoom classes.

These are portraits of teachers.
So you might recognize some people.

This is one of our two new art rooms

and you know now that we're upstairs,
everything starts with a 2.

Oooh (inaudible).

And this is the science wing.

And we're about to go downstairs
to the office and exit.
