Katy Perry's new music video is being bashed by PETA

and no, I am not talking about the bread.

I'm Alex Farnham and this is animalist breaking news

is causing quite the up roar with

the people for ethical treatment

of animals. In short

PETAs' pissed

the video shows katy perry swinging around the jungle

and hanging out with her exotic animal friends

back in 2010 katy perry was given praise

by PETA for her vegetarian lifestyle

but now I believe that the tables have turned

the big controversy is that the animals that

she used in her music video

were trained animal actors

including a silly little monkey

a big old elephant and a creepy crawly trarantula

a spokes women for PETA

told the daily star

animals used for entertainment endure

horrific cruelty and suffer from extreme confinement and violent training methods

the animals for ms perry's video

are reported to be from the Serengeti ranch

which has been inspected by the department of agriculture

over 20 times since 2012

so do we go as far as to say

that katy perry supports animal abuse?

or is it the big machine hollywood who should be held responsible

I pondered these questions and I asked myself

do I have the eye of tiger?

am I a fighter dancing through the fire?

a champion and are you going to hear me roar

I will roar and I will roar for the animals

to be treated with respect and kindness
