-
A PDF is best.
-
Click Join.
-
You will then enter the waiting area.
-
At the top left of the page.
-
You can find out how many people
are waiting in the queue.
-
You will be issued a meeting number
and the system will let you know
-
the number of the current
meeting in progress.
-
This will give you an idea of how close
you are to speaking with a recruiter.
-
For instance, if your meeting number is
nine and the current meeting in progress
-
is eight, that means you'll be next
in line to speak with a recruiter.
-
Other items we'd like to highlight on this
page are the Quit Queue button
-
on the upper right side of the screen,
job categories and other information about
-
the employer that you're looking to speak
with, as well as important information
-
and reminders about notifications
and getting disconnected.
-
We encourage all job seekers spend time
-
with the live demonstration
to get to know the waiting area.
-
When it's your turn to speak
-
with a recruiter, there will be an audible
ding, a popup box to select your camera
-
and microphone, and a red
dot on your browser tab.
-
You will select your camera and your
microphone from the drop downs.
-
If these are not available, you can click
the Refresh button and then click Submit.
-
When you're all set, the recruiter will.
-
Appear in the main video window
with a smaller window for the job seeker.
-
Below the main video, you will find
video controls for microphone.
-
Ending the call.
-
Video text messaging as well as real time
-
captioning button. Messaging can
be found in the right sidebar.
-
You can input your text in the box
at the bottom of the messaging area.
-
There is an audible and visual alert
for messages coming from the recruiter.
-
You can close the messaging box
by clicking the message icon.
-
If you require an ASL interpreter,
-
the recruiter will invite
the interpreter in to join the meeting.
-
The interpreter will appear in a third box
-
and will be automatically
pinned as the main window.
-
To pin or select a window for the larger
-
screen, you can click on any
of the smaller video windows.
-
When your meeting with the recruiter is
finished, you'll be disconnected
-
and returned to the entrance form
in case you need to reenter the queue.
-
Otherwise, you can close the window
and return to the ABILITY Job Fair.
