We welcome you from every corner and province of the nation.

We have youth from Baracoa,
the extreme East of Cuba,

to Pinar del Rio and Pinos Island,
the extreme West of the nation.

God has been so good in bringing you here in His mercy.

Do you know how many thousands of young people would like to be here?

But you were chosen by God to be here.

We are at the heart of this
supernatural encounter.

Youth, you are not here for entertainment.

You are not here just for a program;
you are here for an encounter!

Now, it is time to listen to live testimonies from people

who have received from the power and mercy of God

through the prayer of Brother Chris.

So, these testimonies are
to uplift your faith

and to increase your hope in Jesus Christ.

So, open your heart. I’m not saying open your ears but open your heart,

because in the same way God touched the lives of those we are about to listen to,

He can touch you, your family, nation and everything about you in a tremendous way!

Wherever that pain has found a point of penetration in your body,

remember your body is a temple
of the Holy Spirit,

not of pain, not of affliction,
not of disease.

What we just watched was when our brother here joined an Interactive Prayer Service.

Brother Chris was in the United Kingdom and our brother was connected from Cuba.

From a great distance, he received a powerful miracle!

Let’s welcome him and his mother.

Greetings, people of God.
May God bless you all!

My name is Carlos. I am from the province of Guantánamo and she is my mother.

Her name is Maryanis.

I was going through a very difficult situation in my life.

In search of solution, the Holy Spirit led me to a video from God’s Heart TV.

I found the website and sent
my prayer request to the team

and I was invited the next month to an Interactive Prayer Service.

A part of my digestive system known as the rectum was completely protruded.

I also had external haemorrhoids.

And after the Interactive Prayer Service with Brother Chris, I received my healing.

I was not only delivered from an evil spirit that chased me,

my rectum returned to its normal position and the haemorrhoids disappeared instantly!

There was absolutely nothing left!

This problem started a long time ago.

I’m not only going to share this testimony but my life experience to uplift your faith.

I am coming from a life of crime.

I went to prison at the age of 14.

I started prostitution at the age of 11.

I was sexually abused at the age of 7.

So, for many years, I was under the dominion of these evil spirits.

Many bad things happened to me because I stole and did prostitution.

My life was a complete disaster.

It reached a point where my mum,
the healthy woman you see here,

went to a psychiatric hospital
because of me.

I am her only child and she suffered a lot because of me.

She would have attacks of depression, where she would end up on the floor in tears.

During this depression, she met a Christian lady who asked her why she was crying.

She said she was crying because of her child.

That lady comforted my mother and took her to her house.

My mum started seeking God
because of me.

She quit idol worshipping in the house.

And everything started changing for her.

Approximately one year and a half later, while I was still in prison, God touched my life.

He showed me that what looked like the end for me was actually the beginning.

Even while in the juvenile prison,
I continued my life of sin.

Every time they allowed me to go out,
I would continue practising those sinful acts

- what I am ashamed of today but sharing with you for the glory of God.

There was a time, after they granted me a permit to go out of the detention centre,

when I came back, they ran a general medical examination on me.

The result showed I was suffering from a sexually transmitted disease.

With this, I lost all my hope.

My body began to ‘disappear’ as
I started to lose weight rapidly.

It was at that moment God intervened as my mum, with her little strength, prayed for me.

God reached me and I accepted Jesus Christ in my heart.

Also, someone had given me a New Testament, which I began reading daily

to look for comfort even when
I was not a Christian.

But that Word touched my heart, God reached me and through His Word, I received healing.

When I returned to the doctors and they ran another test,

after I had accepted Jesus Christ,
the STD had disappeared!

Hallelujah! Glory be to God!

Carlos, what a marvellous testimony of how God changed your life!

Now, tell us what happened after you were released from prison,

how God restored your life and your relationship with your mother?

Before, I could not bear having my mother close to me.

Because whenever she was close to me,
I felt irritated.

I used to say that she was my enemy.

If she was in the house, I would leave and
if I were in the house, she would leave.

This was because she opposed what I was doing, which is the love of a mother.

After I became a Christian, God not only healed me, He saved me!

In the process of opening my heart to God,
I started denying myself.

And as I surrendered completely to God,
He completely restored my life!

I would like to advise everyone in this place to set your heart on seeking God.

In 2 Chronicles 12:14, it says ‘he did evil because his heart was not set on seeking God.’

When you don’t open your heart to God,
you will not receive an answer from Him.

I repeat - when you don’t set your heart on God, there will be no sign from Heaven.

The only thing that can bring
Divine impact to your life

is to have a willing and surrendered heart. God bless you!

What a powerful testimony and we thank God for the life of Carlos!

As we heard, God not only rescued him from sickness and oppression

but restored his relationship with his mother.

Before we hear from Carlos’ mother,
I would like him to talk again

about his participation in the Interactive Prayer Service with Brother Chris.

Please explain what happened to you and your mum during the prayer.

Then, we will listen to Carlos’ mother.

During the Interactive Prayer
with Brother Chris,

there was a time I faced a lot of opposition;
the connection was failing.

There was a lot of interference
and strange noises.

I knew this opposition was because of what God was about to do in my life.

I prayed and asked God to take control.

At that moment, God truly took control and the connection was restored.

I started praying, meditating in my heart and I listened to the message shared that day.

When Brother Chris came out to pray,
I felt God’s glory fall on me.

It took over me and
I lost control.

My body started moving uncontrollably;
I was shaking.

Then, I felt something inside of me
was uprooted!

And when that thing came out, I knew I was released from everything left from my past.

During that same service, Brother Chris asked us to bring a picture of our family members

to pray for them, so after my own deliverance, I went to bring a picture of my mum.

I placed her picture on the screen and at that very moment, she received healing!

Because she was sick with bone pain,
on the bed and unable to eat.

She was in a really bad condition.

After Brother Chris prayed for my mum’s picture, I went to see her

to tell her I received my deliverance from God,
I found my mum no longer on the sickbed!

Her appetite had returned and she said she was feeling fine!

This is to show you that when we seek God,
it is not only for us personally

but if we ask God on behalf of our loved ones,
He also hears us.

God heard me when I prayed for my mum, asking Him to heal her.

Because distance is not a barrier for God,
Brother Chris prayed for my mum’s picture,

from where he was and from where I was,
God also touched my mum’s life.

God restored my mum’s health and her spiritual life.

I am going to be brief.

I am very emotional because I never thought
I would be in front of so many people

sharing this testimony!

I have seen the glory of God!

I want to tell every mother
that is here right now -

from the moment you are pregnant, don’t see the child as yours. Dedicate them to God!

We are only instruments to guide them while we are here on earth.

They don’t belong to us; they belong to God.

Mothers and fathers, no matter who your children become or what they do -

never stop praying for them.

That is why I testify today that distance is not a barrier!

Because it was God who brought all of us here today.

Let us lay our burdens before Christ.

He is the only One who can rescue us,
in the name of Jesus!

Put your hands together for Jesus Christ!

Enter into worship. Worship Him with a humble heart before His presence.

God will not reject you;
you have access to the Father.

Church, this morning, we have a wholesome spiritual meal for you.

Show your excitement for that!

God has brought us this morning
a very special couple.

For more than 20 years,
Gary and his wife, Fiona,

the biological parents of Brother Chris,

were working with Prophet T.B. Joshua in missions all over the world.

Greetings in Jesus’ name!

We are very happy to be here with you.

Before Gary comes to preach, I want to encourage you that God is faithful

when we put our trust in Him
and our trust is steadfast.

I’d like to start today by telling you a little bit of my story

and I’m going to go back 50 years to the year 1973.

That was the year when both
Fiona and I found Jesus.

We were in different parts of the country -

we weren’t going to meet each other
for another five years,

The same month in May 1973 -

we had an encounter with Jesus Christ.

And to say that it changed my life
is an understatement!

Because for me,
I knew nothing about Christianity -

I’d never been into a church
in my life, when I was 15.

I thought I was an atheist!

Actually, I was just a young,
growing teenager

who was very mixed up and needed God.

I found myself attending a Bible study
at school every week.

Now, at that time it was fashionable
to be a rebel - to be rebellious.

And like all teenagers of that time,
I was trying to work out

whether I should rebel against
everything that went before -

my parents, everything!

Or whether I should conform with what seemed to be the standard.

But there was something about these Christians that really caught my attention!

Because on the outside,
they seemed quite ‘straight’.

They didn’t act in a rebellious way.

But they were actually different!

And I realised that the people who were conforming with the crowd

were all these people who were rebelling!

And the different thing about these Christians is they were actually happy!

So, I went on a journey
of asking lots of questions.

They gave me a copy of the
New Testament - I didn’t know it.

I’d never seen it before; I started to read.

Most of my questions -
they were not able to answer.

But one night - I remember it still today -

over 50 years ago, a friend of mine
said to me,

‘You need to ask Jesus,
to show you that He is real.’

And so that night, on the bus going home,

I decided I was going to pray.

For the first time in my life!

I said, ‘Jesus, if You’re real,
please show Yourself to me

and I will give my life to You!’

Now, something happened!

I can’t really explain it,
and I don’t know what happened naturally

but when I said that prayer,

a physical and a spiritual light
came over me

God changed my heart!

And what I noticed immediately - and I still remember it was while I was sat

on the same bus before it reached home -

I decided that I now believed the Bible.

So, I was no longer trying to work out whether it was true or not.

I decided I believed it was true,
as an act of faith

because I believed Jesus
had showed me He was real.

I believed it was true, and I was going to try and live my life according to it.

Now, at that time, as I said,
I didn’t know very much about Christianity.

And there was probably quite a lot
that was wrong with my life.

But as I look back now,
over those fifty years,

that was the most
important thing that I ever did.

I believe I made a lot
of mistakes and still do.

But there’s something about meaning it.

This is something where
we are dealing with reality -

we are dealing with truth.

And that’s a matter of the heart.

And this is a mystery really,
but when you mean it, God comes in!

My parents didn’t quite know
what had happened to me

and thought it was a new hobby!

Because at that age, I had a number
of things I got enthusiastic about,

whether it was collecting stamps
or watching football

or going to rock concerts -

there were all kinds of things
I’d been enthusiastic about

and they thought this was
another of those things.

But the title of the message
I want to bring to you today

is ‘Christianity is not a hobby’.

So, please tell your neighbour -
Christianity is not a hobby!

One thing about a hobby -

you can be very passionate about it.

But in the hierarchy of important things in life, it comes below your preferences and opinions.

So, if you change your preferences,
or change your opinions -

you can change your hobby.

Christianity is not at that level.

It’s at this level!

It’s above my opinions,
and it’s above my preferences!

It’s possible to read the Bible,
looking for things to justify our opinions.

But you need to open the Word of God, and let God speak to you.

One of the things I love
that Prophet T.B. Joshua said is,

‘The Bible should be the database
for our personal opinions.’

So, I don’t come to try and make sense of the Bible in the light of my opinions and experiences.

I come to my life and my experiences and make sense of them through the Bible!

God’s Word is a direction for life,
not just advice.

So, we need some humility.

True humility is total dependence
on God for everything.

Now, another thing about a hobby -

a hobby can also coexist
with other priorities.

It can be one of those things
that we are interested in.

Christianity is not one of those things -

it’s the whole thing!

Does that mean that I have no interests?

I talk about nothing else but
religious language? No!

But I understand everything -
my relationships, my work,

what I feel about myself,
what I feel about other people,

what’s going to happen when I die -

everything about me, I understand through the God who created me.

For the first Scripture that I want to read today, I want to read Matthew 6:24.

“No one can serve two masters.

Either he will hate the one
and love the other,

or he will be devoted to one and despise the other.

You cannot serve both God and mammon.”

It’s not only money; I think it represents everything that money can buy.

This physical world we all physically engage with.

The god of this world and God, who created us - you can’t serve both of them.

Your life direction is either decided by things eternal and what God is saying,

or it’s decided by things here,
which your senses are telling you.

And if you’re a true servant of God,
you’re not a servant of the world

and if you’re a servant of the world,
you’re not a servant of God.

You may have done the same as me -

you may have declared that commitment to Jesus, and you meant it -

you were going to follow Him!

But there are still daily decisions as to whether we obey God, or mammon.

People who don’t believe in God
will think you’re crazy!

And the reason is, because you’ll be making decisions on the basis of something you can’t see!

But Jesus said further down, and I’m just going to read this verse as well in verse 33.

“Seek first the Kingdom of God
and His righteousness,

and all these things shall be given to you as well.”

It’s because God is real.

He may not be visible but
when we obey Him,

we get in line with the One who created this whole universe.

It’s no problem to Him to give you
what you need.

If you give your life to searching for what you need, you won’t find it.

You may find the physical things but you won’t find peace.

Because peace only comes from a relationship with the One who created us.

Now, I want to turn to a Scripture in the Old Testament, and this is in the book of Joshua.

Because this is one of the many examples in the Old Testament

where the people of God at the time thought they could serve God, and also serve other gods as well.

They saw some benefit in serving God,
but they also tried to serve other gods as well.

It’s a temptation for all of us!

It’s a temptation for all of us!

Sometimes, the devil, instead of trying
to get us to just deny God,

will try to get us to shift and
follow something else as well.

If there’s one thing I’ve observed -

in mixing with lots of people over the last fifty years of being a believer -

it’s that when you add something else
to your Christianity,

it’s not long before you become focused on that ‘something else’, and God takes a lower position.

I’m warning you, this happens!

You start off being 100% for God -

then you’re 90% for God,
and 10% for your own enjoyment.

Give it a couple of years; you’ll be 90% for your own enjoyment, 10% for God.

Because you can’t serve two masters!

Having said that, let me read Joshua 24 -

and I’m going to read from verse 14.

Joshua said, “Now therefore, fear the Lord and serve Him wholeheartedly and faithfully.

Remove the gods that your fathers served in the region across the river and in Egypt,

and serve the Lord.

But if you see no benefit in serving the Lord, then choose today whom you are going to serve,

whether the gods your fathers
served beyond the river,

or the gods of the Amorites,
in whose land you are living.

But as for me and my household,
we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15)

Joshua was giving them the same challenge that Jesus gave His disciples and the Pharisees

who were listening to Him,
when we read Matthew.

He said, ‘Look, make your mind up,

you have to choose who you are going to serve - you can’t serve both.’

Verse 16 says the people responded, saying,

“Far be it from us to forsake the Lord and serve other gods. We are going to serve the Lord.”

That is what they said.

Joshua said to the people,

“You are not able to serve the Lord,
because He’s a holy God; He’s a jealous God.”

Joshua could have rejoiced and said,

‘We have a revival!
The people want to serve the Lord!’

But he knew what was in their heart -

that their commitment at that time,
was not total, but partial.

So, it was actually true when he said,
‘In this state of heart, you can’t serve the Lord’.

Those people were only convinced;
they were not yet converted.

So, you can be convinced
that Jesus is the Lord.

But you’re not converted until the Word of God becomes living inside of you,

and starts to affect your behaviour, your actions and your attitudes.

Now, God allows us in life to be able to observe whether we really have faith or not.

Because one thing I can guarantee
is that faith is always tested!

Faith is not faith if it is not tested.

The kind of tests that God sets are not like the examination where we know the day,

and we prepare, and we go into the examination to see if we can pass the test.

It’s in the middle of doing something else, completely unexpected, that a test will come.

But when the test comes, we sometimes realise that we don’t actually have faith.

Prophet T.B. Joshua said something
very challenging:

“You can tell whether you have got
faith by your daily life.”

But this is not a negative thing;
this is wonderfully positive!

It means we have a chance to put things right!

I don’t want to get to the end of my life
and discover I was a fake!

I thank God for the tests now,
so I can find out now!

And I can come to Him to put it right!

Because God allows things in our life which are stronger than we are.

To put it another way,
you cannot save yourself!

He allows passions to arise in us
which are stronger than our will-power.

How can we overcome?

With a living God!

So please, whatever kind of challenge
you are having - don’t fake it.

Don’t pretend everything is okay.

You will have an opportunity later today and tomorrow to receive deliverance.

And the reason I’m emphasising this for you today,

is whatever you’re struggling with, where you need the living God to set you free,

come with an open heart!

Come with humility!

And let the God who created you,
set you free to follow Him.

Because many of us are like Joshua’s people; we want to serve the Lord but we can’t.

I’m turning to another Scripture now
in the book of Luke 9.

This is another very serious thing that Jesus said.

Let me read from Luke 9:23.

Jesus said to all of them,

“If anyone wants to come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily and follow Me.

For whoever wants to save his life,
will lose it.

But whoever loses his life for My sake,
will save it.”

It’s a matter of life and death -
that’s why Christianity is not a hobby.

That’s why we have to know that
God is real.

Because if God is not real,
this is not good news; it is bad news.

Because we are giving our lives for this.

And you know, it’s possible - if we have a partial commitment, the problem is

we’ll have enough Christianity to make us miserable, but not enough to make us happy.

You cannot take eternity out of Christianity.

The God who created us, and who is going to judge us at the end of our lives

has made a way for us
to be reconciled to Him,

and to live a life that is full and free.

He doesn’t promise it will be easy,
but it will be full, it will be free

and in eternity, it will be,
‘Well done, good and faithful servant.’

And if you’re still doubting eternity -

God’s put eternity in our hearts.

That’s what Solomon said in Ecclesiates.

We’ve all got a conscience -
it’s God speaking to us.

I am now drawing to a close,
and I want to bring an appeal to you.

And with that, I want to read
one more Scripture.

And this one is in 2 Chronicles 16:9.

“The eyes of the Lord go back and forth
over all the earth

to offer strong support to the hearts of those who are completely committed to Him.”

This is talking about God - the living God.

He’s here.

He’s looking at our hearts!

He wants to show Himself strong!

But He can only do it for those whose
hearts are fully committed to Him.

So let’s stand and pray together.

Lord Jesus, I am given up to Your will.

Lord Jesus, I am ready.

I am ready to go where You want me to go.

I am ready to say what You want me to say.

I am ready to be what You want me to be.

Time is short.

Jesus is coming soon.

I don’t want to waste my time.

Tell me what I should do.

Give me Your orders.

I promise to submit myself to all You desire of me,

and to accept all You permit to happen to me.

Let me only know Your will.

In Jesus’ name. Amen!

If anyone of you is moved in your heart to kneel down with us in this atmosphere,

do so with the light of

Acknowledge that the only way to have a revived generation

Greetings to you all, in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ!

First and foremost, I want to give all the glory to Jesus Christ.

Because He is the reason we are all gathered here today.

Turn to your neighbour and tell them,
“It is all about Jesus!”

Yes, it is all about Jesus!

I also want to acknowledge and appreciate the servant of God, Prophet T.B. Joshua.

He taught me from a young age the value of my relationship with God

above anything and everything else
in this world.

And I had the privilege of being mentored by Prophet T.B. Joshua for 17 years

at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations
in Lagos, Nigeria.

Until God called him home in June 2021.

He often used to say,
“It is not about where I want to be;

it is about where God wants me to be.”

And I want to emphasise something in the light of this.

True fulfillment in life is not about your physical location;

it is about your spiritual station.

It’s not about your country;
it’s about your calling from above.

And when you are where God wants you to be, my brothers and sisters,

His grace will be sufficient for you, whatever life brings to you.

When you are where God wants you to be, you will be content.

Whether you have little or lots,
you will be content.

When you are where God wants you to be - yes, there can be troubles and struggles -

but God will speak strength to your soul through that trouble.

By the grace of God, I am here today because God wants me to be here.

And it is such an honour and privilege to be in this beautiful and blessed nation of Cuba.

Over the years I have been in ministry,
I have been privileged to meet

some believers from Cuba
in different parts of the world.

And there is a common thread I have observed among all the people

I have met from this nation.

I have seen a deep hunger and passion
for the things of God.

And I want to salute your faith.

I know the challenges that have faced and are facing this nation.

Remember, there is no nation
without challenges.

But I want you to consider
something personally.

Who knows where you would be spiritually if not for those challenges?

Because there are many people today who are rich materially but poor spiritually.

Many people abound materially,
but they are empty spiritually.

So, consider this - what is troublesome to the flesh can often be beneficial to the spirit.

And if these challenges have ultimately brought you closer to God,

they are a blessing.

From eternity’s perspective.

So, thank you from my heart for receiving me today in this wonderful nation.

I am also especially excited about the nature of this gathering.

Because there is a passion in my heart to minister to the young people.

Because we are the future!

When I reached the age of 16,
I was faced with an important decision.

I had just finished my secondary school and I was not sure of what next to do in life,

to pursue career or education;
I was at a point of decision.

Rather than just following my friends

or being led by the pressure of society,

I chose to seek God’s face about my future.

And that changed my life.

Now, my journey is different from yours;
we are not the same.

Which is why it is unnecessary
to compare yourself with others.

But what I want to share with you today is the principle that prompted that decision.

I discovered early on the need to build
my life around the pursuit of my purpose.

Young people, I am here to
encourage you today.

If you can prioritise the pursuit of your purpose in life,

God will give you everything else you need for the journey.

And this will usher me to the title of the message
I want to share with you today from my heart -

‘The Pursuit Of Purpose’.

We must build our lives around the pursuit of spiritual purpose, not fleshly fulfillment.

I have met many young people who have asked me a similar question.

They have said, ‘Brother Chris, I want to know what is my purpose in life.’

And many people ask this question
out of frustration,

out of discouragement with what they are facing in life.

But I put it to you today that this is the wrong question to ask.

Because if you search within your heart,

you will know this is a question you already have the answer to.

For everyone here today, I can reveal to you what your purpose in life is.

Because it unites all of us.

It connects all of us as children of God.

Look, your purpose in life is not determined by your geographical location

or your circumstance of birth or your present condition right now.

Your purpose in life is not determined by your negative experiences in the past,

by the fact that you grew up with the lack or loss of a loved one.

That does not determine your purpose.

Your purpose in life is not determined by the mistakes you have made in the past.

That does not determine your purpose.

People of God, the Bible is very clear.

In Isaiah 43:7, the Scripture says this,
“You are created for the glory of God.”

That is your purpose!

And the pursuit of that purpose is the foundation, the bedrock of real fulfillment.

I will quickly read you a Scripture
from Colossians 1.

Colossians 1:16

“For by Him all things were created

that are in heaven and that are on earth,

visible and invisible,

whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers.

All things were created
through Him and for Him.”

This is your purpose in life - to glorify God.

Young people, don’t be deceived by the lies of this world.

Money is not a measurement of fulfillment.

Many people have money but they go to bed at night in pain

because they don’t have peace of heart.

Fame, popularity, material success -
that is not a measurement of fulfillment.

The measurement of fulfillment is not carnal but spiritual.

Don’t wait until it gets late
before you realise this.

No other path can bring you that fulfillment.

Don’t exhaust your time,
energy, passion and talent

in the pursuit of something
that is perishable.

There are many people today who have believed the lie that

‘If I just travel to another country,
my problems will be solved.

Everything will change!
I will find what I’m looking for.

I just need to get out of this country.’

Look, if your problem is within you,
no country you travel to can change that.

Another lie, a common lie of the devil -
let’s talk about it.

I have met many young people who are struggling with lustful urges,

sexual urges of the flesh.

And people think,
‘If I just sleep with this man.

If I just sleep with this woman.

If I just watch that pornographic material,
I will be satisfied...’ - it is a lie!

What you think will bring satisfaction actually makes the urge even worse.

Many people think, ‘If I can just get enough money, I will be fulfilled.’

So, they are prepared to do ungodly things in the pursuit of that money.

But when the money comes, the problems increase that take the money away.

The pursuit of fulfillment in the flesh is a journey that has no destination.

It’s an endless cycle, an endless circle.

So, I will show you practically what I am talking about.

You think to yourself,
‘If I can just get there, I will be fulfilled.’

You get there. Before you realise you are not, it takes you to here.

You say, ‘If I get here, I will be fulfilled.’

You try it and realise you are not there.

You get to here and still are not fulfilled.

You go around here and before you know it, you are back in the same place!

And what is happening?
Precious time is wasted.

Precious opportunities are squandered.

Precious promises from God lie dormant.

Because we are pursuing that which ultimately cannot fulfil us.

Fulfillment is all about living
in tune with your purpose.

Because only God can give your soul that which you truly seek.

I put it to you today that the challenge before us is not one of purpose - it is one of focus.

You see, God determines your purpose
but you determine your focus.

Your purpose is destined - it’s Divine!

But your focus is decision - it’s discipline.

So, the question I want you to
ask yourself is this -

what is hindering my focus
in the pursuit of my purpose?

What is distracting, affecting your focus?
Ask yourself that question!

If you examine your heart

and realise you are in a place that is contrary to your desires,

don’t blame your circumstances;
change your focus.

Don’t fall into the trap of blaming
factors beyond your control,

for factors within your control.

It’s very common today for people to cast blame, point fingers, look for a scapegoat.

No one wins when you play
the blame game.

Or let me put it like this -

the only winner in the blame game
is the devil.

Because he delights in seeing you suffer in a cycle of bondage that is often self-inflicted.

The best way to change is to recognise personal responsibility for what happens in your life.

Even when, in the natural, you have a claim to point fingers, to cast blame,

to look at this or that as the cause of what’s happening to you,

don’t act on that claim to blame.

It only leaves you in a cycle

of frustration, disappointment, discouragement.

And in such a state of heart,
we can easily fall into sin.

With such a state of heart,
how can we glorify God?

So, people of God, the answer
is to change your focus.

To what?

We need more of God and less of us.

We need more of His love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,

faithfulness, gentleness, self-control -
we need more of Him!

The more you engage your heart
with the Word of God,

the more your life lines up
with His purpose.

Let me put it like this.

The closer you draw to God,
the clearer your calling becomes.

Why? Because the closer you draw to God, the more events will unfold in your life

that point you and push you down the direction of your Divine calling.

I know that for many of us
gathered here right now,

there is something spiritual
disturbing our focus.

It may be as a result of generational curses or demonic attack,

but there is something disturbing our heart.

People of God, it’s a great privilege for me to be here

to share the Word of God with you today.

But the greatest desire in my heart

is to pray for each and every one
of you for deliverance!

Because many of us, as we are listening to the message, we have that desire to serve God!

But there is something restricting us!

There is something limiting us!

And you need the power of the
Holy Spirit to break that chain!

But I want you to take note of this:

Deliverance removes the bondage of the devil,
but not the battle of temptation.

There is no prayer in this world
that eliminates temptation,

which is why deliverance is not a replacement for discipline.

That is why I want you to take
this Word seriously.

Because after you receive prayer,
in the name of Jesus,

this Word will equip you
to pursue your Divine purpose.

May God bless His Word in the midst
of our hearts, in Jesus’ name.

Believe that for God to have brought you here at this moment, it is by Divine appointment.

And what God has destined you to receive, you will receive it today!

Take care of your heart!

If there’s anyone you need to forgive,

begin to release forgiveness right now.

My name is Jeiser and I’m from Las Tunas.
I am 22 years old.

About four weeks ago, I had an accident.

A motorcycle hit my right leg.

My hip and knee were dislocated but they managed to put them back quickly.

If I lay down on my right side, I would have to turn because of the pain.

Only a few people, like my mum, knew about this accident; I didn’t tell others.

When I came to the prayer line,

My name is Jany.
I was suffering from personality problems.

I felt like I didn’t have an identity.
I had low self-esteem.

At one point, I hated myself so much
that I tried to kill myself three times.

But every time I tried to take my life,
I would hear a voice saying,

‘It is not yet your time to die;
I have a purpose for you.’

I am studying music at school;
I play the flute.

It is a large school with people from different provinces, backgrounds, faiths and mindsets.

In the school, there is a lot of perversion and sexual immorality.

There are drugs, alcohol and prostitution - everything you can imagine.

The friends I stayed with lived a very liberal and worldly life.

They used to tell me about their private lives, what they had done and wanted to do.

I was focused on Jesus but I began to feel like an outsider in the group.

I felt my life was very boring and I never had any interesting stories to tell others.

In order to release that ‘stress’,
I started practising masturbation.

I would watch pornographic videos and have lustful thoughts.

It reached a point where I could not even sleep; I suffered from insomnia.

For three months, I was completely unable to sleep. I slept in the day, not at night.

If I didn’t masturbate, I couldn’t sleep at all.

It got so bad that even after masturbating,
I couldn’t sleep.

Evil spirits would torment me; I would feel an evil spirit lying down next to me.

I would see shadows and objects moving in my room.

So, do you mean that what you thought would bring a solution to your situation -

that through watching pornography and masturbating, you would be satisfied -

actually made things even worse?

Yes, that’s what I meant.

This only left me in the same emptiness with the desire to die.

I would think my life was worthless,
I was ugly and horrible.

I hated myself; I wanted to die.

On the fourth floor of the building where
I took my music classes,

I would look out the window and think about how to jump out.

But this voice would tell me,
‘Don’t jump; I am with you.’

What happened yesterday when you received a touch from Jesus Christ?

Yesterday, when I saw the ministration had started, I felt something burning in my stomach

and I couldn’t stop my hands from shaking.

When Brother Chris touched my forehead,
it felt like something exploded!

And when I fell to the ground,
I felt that something was uprooted!

Because I used to feel an oppression
in my heart - bitterness.

Something completely left me and I felt like
I was in a new body.

When I was four years old,
I had an operation on my knee

He wants me to do in my life!’

In other words, ‘I want to know what God is calling me to do in the pursuit of that purpose.’

But I want you to consider this.

How can you know what God wants you to do
if you don’t have a genuine relationship with Him?

If you have a one-sided relationship -

maybe you speak to God in prayer but you are not hearing from Him -

how then can you know what
He wants you to do?

How can you glorify God if your heart is so often disconnected from Him?

How can you glorify God if your heart
is so often filled

with things that are inconsistent with His Word?

You see, everyone of us here has a Divine calling from God.

But your calling flows from your relationship with God, not the other way around.

If you are serious about following the direction of your calling,

you must be serious about taking care of your relationship with God.

I want to share with you three habits that should characterise every believer’s life.

And the genuine pursuit of your purpose will lead you to cultivate these habits -

these habits of holiness.

1. Every day, you must talk to God in prayer.

2. Every day, you must let God talk to you by reading the Bible.

3. Every day, you must talk to someone else about God.

If you are serious in your relationship with God,
these are things you must do on a daily basis.

Look, we are not talking today about theory, philosophy or history.

We are talking about practical Christianity.

Practical Christianity is not a hobby - it’s a lifestyle!

The fruit of your genuine pursuit of your purpose in life is revealed in your lifestyle -

day-by-day, hour-by-hour, minute-by-minute.

Your pursuit of your purpose in life starts with what is in your hands today.

It begins by glorifying God in your situation today, whatever it is.

It is expressed in the little things of your daily life.

Some of you hear this message and think, ‘Well, maybe the calling you are referring to

is those who are just preaching the Word on the pulpit or in public ministry.’

No! I am talking about glorifying God in your day-to-day activities.

When you love your neighbour as yourself,
even when they respond to you with hatred,

you are walking a path that glorifies God.

When you choose to release forgiveness to that person who has wronged, hurt you,

even when, in the natural,
you have a right to hold offence,

when you release forgiveness,
you are glorifying God!

When you choose to work hard,
give your best,

pursue excellence in the assignment
ahead of you right now,

even when people don’t seem to appreciate you,
you are walking the path that glorifies God.

When you acknowledge your mistakes
and run to God in repentance,

even when it would be the easiest option to try and cover up your wrong

or justify your wrong or point fingers at others, what are you doing?

You are walking a path that glorifies God
in line with your purpose.

Can you see, people of God?
I am talking about honouring God in your daily life.

Even the examples I just gave you are things everyone here can identify with.

With the right perspective of life,

everything you pass through is an opportunity to build your character.

Mistakes in the pursuit of purpose are actually building blocks.

We may make mistakes; no one is perfect.

But when our focus is on pursuing the purpose of God for our lives,

those mistakes will actually bring us closer to God -

strengthen our faith,
encourage us in our walk of faith.

Disappointments in the pursuit of purpose are actually just stepping stones to success.

Stepping stones to progress,
to success, to advancement.

We can be disappointed, yes!

But God can use that disappointment for our advancement.

Failure, or let me say ‘seeming failure’, in the pursuit of purpose is just a life lesson.

I say ‘seeming failure’ because it just looks like failure -

it’s actually preparation for success.

With the maturity that comes from faith,
you will recognise that

to a Christian, nothing is lacking,
while everything is necessary.

With the right perspective of life!

This is why, as I stressed yesterday,
casting blame and pointing fingers

are enemies of progress,
enemies of spiritual maturity.

I want to read you a Scripture with some wisdom of Solomon in Proverbs 4:23-27.

Remember what I said yesterday -

the challenge that lies before us is not one of purpose; it is one of focus.

Proverbs 4:23 - “Keep your heart (guard your heart) with all diligence,

for out of it springs the issues of life.

Put away from you a deceitful mouth,
and put perverse lips far from you.

Let your eyes look straight ahead,
and your eyelids look right before you.

Ponder the path of your feet,
and let all your ways be established.

Do not turn to the right or the left;

remove your foot from evil.”

This is a Scripture about focus - rightful focus!

To have rightful focus, you must guard your heart.

You must take care of your heart.

Because people of God, we are living in a world that is full of distractions.

If you don’t have a purpose,
it’s very easy to be polluted.

In fact, I would say this -

purposeless pastimes are
an easy pathway to sin.

Purposeless! When you don’t have a purpose for what you are doing,

you can easily be distracted down the road of unrighteousness.

We are living in a world full of distraction.

Let me give you a warning that is especially relevant for us as young people.

Comparison and carnal competition -
they are weapons of mass distraction.

Comparing yourself with others is a waste of time and energy.

Because God created you to be unique!

When it comes to destiny, there is no competition.

You are what God says you are.

What is for you is for you.

You are not what the world says you are.

You are not what society says you are.

You are not what friends and people around you say you are.

You are what God says you are!

You see, if you pursue God’s goal for your life,

yes, troubles will come -

but when they come, God will equip you to face it and strengthen you to overcome it.

But if you are pursuing God’s goal for someone else

maybe because of imitation
or unhealthy comparison

you may seem to be okay on the journey; you may seem to ‘get away with it’.

But very soon you will encounter a trouble that God has not equipped you to face.

And when that happens, it will likely derail you.

To guard your heart, avoid the trap of comparison.

I want to give you an assignment
that I want you to do

when we finish this gathering
and you go back home.

I want you go and meet your parents -
your mother or father.

Or perhaps your grandparents - someone who is in a position of authority in your life.

And I want you to ask them something.

You can say, ‘mum, dad, my grandmother, my grandfather, tell me -

if you were back at my age, what are things you would have done differently?’

Because many of our parents here are regretting.

If they could, they would want to turn back the hands of time to correct

many of the mistakes they made at your age.

Don’t let this happen to you.

Young people, you have not yet
gone too far.

Your Divine destiny awaits you!

You can still make adjustment!

You can still make correction!

Don’t trust worldly wisdom.

Don’t follow man’s majority.

Don’t wait for a more convenient time to get your heart right with God.

Because time waits for no one.

That is why I am encouraging you with this message

to build your life around the pursuit of your purpose.

1 Corinthians 10:31 - “Therefore,

When you wake up in the morning,
the first person you should greet is God.

Many of us today, when we wake up in the morning, the first thing we greet is our phone.

If you can begin your day
on your knees in prayer,

you start the day on the right foundation.

Prophet T.B. Joshua lived a life of prayer.

We are not talking about prayer on Sundays or when it’s time for service.

He lived a life of prayer on a daily basis.

He said, “I took care of the depth of my relationship with God

and Jesus took care of the
breadth of my success.”

So, people of God, there is no special formula when it comes to spiritual growth.

If you want to build your relationship with God,
you must be prepared to give quality time.

It’s a sacrificial lifestyle.

Because to give that time,

there are some other areas of your life you are going to have to sacrifice.

But I tell you - whatever you lose for God’s sake,

you will gain a thousand-fold.

I have two questions that are related.

First, there is a common trend of thinking that to be successful, you must get married at any cost.

However, we have seen in your own life that there was a process

and with God at the centre, at the right time, He brought the right person.

What should be our focus as young people with God at the centre of our lives,

to have the conviction it’s the right person coming with the right motives?

Secondly, how can we know if our calling does not include marriage?

So, first of all, let me say to everyone -
this is my wife.

I can give advice on this issue from practical experience now.

I came to a point where I said to myself,
‘If I don’t get married, I’m content.’

And when I arrived at a place of contentment,

the issue of marriage no longer
became a burden.

And when it no longer became a burden, God gave me my wife from Heaven.

Why am I saying this?

If you seek marriage before God,

you may enter a marriage that will affect your relationship with God.

So, the issue of marriage is more about maturity.

If you are mature spiritually

and God’s appointed time comes for you to get married,

there will be heart agreement in line with the pursuit of purpose.

Look, when we talk of heart agreement,

you don’t need anyone else to confirm

If you are in a relationship with someone and your heart is disturbed

and you keep saying, ‘I’m not sure’,

I would suggest to you,
he is not ‘the one’ - she is not ‘the one’.

God speaks to our hearts.

He will not lead you to a relationship that is going to affect your life negatively.

So, if you are in the right place with God,

and God’s time comes for you to get married,

the Spirit of God will bear witness with your spirit.

I will quickly share a short story.

When God put it in my heart to speak to Allison,

within three minutes, I went from saying the feelings that were in my heart

to saying, ‘Will you marry me?’

Three minutes!

Now, I want to stress that I’m not saying my case will be the same for all of you.

What I am saying is that when God speaks to your heart, you will know.

So, your concern should be to be in the right place with God.

When you are in the right place with God

and His time comes for you to get married, it will happen spontaneously.

you will continue your journey with contentment, not burdened.

Nowadays, many in the church have idolised family above God

and give family the greatest attention
in their lives.

But the Bible says those who are willing to follow Jesus

must be ready to sacrifice family, business, marital time.

So, without removing the value of family,

to bring the move of God we desire in Cuba

and prioritise our relationship with God,

to what extent should we be prepared to make such sacrifices?

So, let me take you to the Book of
Mark 3 from verse 31.

“Jesus’ mother and brothers came, and standing outside they sent to Him, calling Him.

And a multitude was sitting around Him;

and they said to Him, ‘Look, Your mother and Your brothers are outside seeking You.’

But He answered them, saying,
‘Who is My mother, or My brothers?’

And He looked around in a circle at those who sat about Him, and said,

‘Here are My mother and My brothers!

For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother’.”

Now, Jesus is not saying here that He is denying His biological family.

We know the role that Jesus’ mother played in His ministry and later on, His brothers as well.

So, this Scripture is not saying,
‘I don’t have mother, brother or family.’ No!

What Jesus is saying here is that the
Spirit is thicker than the blood.

Jesus was there on an assignment from God, teaching the people.

That spiritual assignment was more important at that moment

than the pressure of His mother and brothers wanting to see Him.

So, the issue of managing your family,
your human responsibilities -

you must do so, it is good,
there is nothing wrong with that -

but not at the price of your spiritual life.

It’s a matter of understanding your priorities.

How can you be an effective father, mother, brother or sister that shows love

and helps your family if you are not in the right place with God?

The greatest way you can help your family
is to take care of your relationship with God.

Because the overflow of your relationship with God will bless those around you.

too much time, attention, focus, interest
to your family - check yourself.

of human qualifications.

When Jesus commissioned Peter in John 21,

It is our love for Christ that is the basis of effective ministry.

If you take care of your relationship with God and He has called you to ministry,

events will unfold beyond your control
that will push you to your calling.

It will not be a question of ‘I’m not sure,

If you do the wrong thing and your first response

is to make excuses, to justify yourself,

it shows the Spirit of God is not dominating your heart.

The Holy Spirit prompts our conscience to repentance.

But if you internally justify your wrong,
you remove the need for repentance.

At that moment, the fire is quenched.

Because the Spirit of God cannot share a heart dominated by sin.

I can just give you a very simple example.

Many of us here come to an event like this

and say, ‘Holy Spirit fire, fall on me!’

But we are still harbouring
unforgiveness towards someone.

The Holy Spirit cannot share
a heart with unforgiveness.

Because, in the case of offence, it is because someone has done something wrong to you,

it’s easy for you to feel justified in refusing to forgive.

You may feel justified before man,
but before God you have no right to hold offence.

Because Jesus died on the Cross and said, ‘Father, forgive them.’

If He did not withhold forgiveness from us,

who are we to withhold forgiveness
from someone?

I am just giving you one example of things
that can quench the fire of the Holy Spirit.

A heart full of offence.

This problem was a lethal dose

It's hard to explain but
power shook my body.

I come from the Municipality of Florida in the Province of Camagüey, Cuba.

What was the problem you were facing?

About two years ago, I was the victim of a witchcraft attack by a woman.

The case was so serious that I wanted to take my life!

I never attempted suicide but I clearly heard a voice telling me

the solution to that situation
was to kill myself.

Out of ignorance, I started on a dark path, visiting sorcerers and witchdoctors,

looking for a solution but unfortunately,
I was guided by the evil that I had inside.

But God knows the hearts, the purposes, the intentions.

When I became a Christian, I realised that among the four children from my mother,

none of us have been able to have a successful marriage.

I had already been married four times by the age of 27.

My third marriage was with a lady whose family used to practice witchcraft.

This marriage did not work because I could not meet her financial expectations.

I decided to leave her and shortly afterwards started another worldly relationship.

But suddenly, I experienced a drastic change in my life.

I became another person. I didn’t feel love. I had no more sexual desires.

I had no more feelings.

I have a little son who is three years old,
to the glory of God,

but I didn’t feel any love for him.

I was desperate. I spent two and a half months living in that situation.

Every day I felt worse and that's when I started looking for witchdoctors and sorcerers.

They suggested solutions that would supposedly solve my problem

but I realised that every time I went to those places, the situation got worse.

I couldn’t find a solution to my problem and had to seek medical attention.

I started seeing a psychologist but
it didn’t improve.

I went deeper and saw a psychiatrist who prescribed me medical treatment for a month.

At the age of 27, I was taking this medication but it didn’t work; it made things worse.

I couldn’t sleep. I would have panic attacks.
I would be awakened after 3am

by very strange movements, noises, nightmares, disturbance and torment.

I was alive on the outside but totally dead on the inside.

What happened when Brother Chris prayed for you?

I have gone through the process of receiving prayer for deliverance several times

but I never experienced anything like this!

At the point that where Brother Chris
came near to me,

there were still two people in the prayer line before it was my turn.

I began to feel opposition because of the evil spirit inside me.

I realise that he is a man of God.
May God continue using him!

They had to bring me twice to the prayer line because the demon was resisting.

How did this problem affect your daily life?

This problem made everything

I was facing rejection and

He had so many health problems.

In my spiritual life, I was having doubts about God because I was thinking
