in the Bronx of New York City,

it really just started
from the social dances, yeah?

Dances that you had at birthday parties,

or school dances, house parties, yeah?

So, I'm going to teach you four dances.

First off, we're going to start off
with the Alf, with an A.

we're going to bring
one leg up to meet it.

Down, and then switch to the other leg.

But what we're going to do today

We're going to start off facing this way.

One leg in the air.

One, the back leg picks up,
we go back down on that back leg,

pick up the front.

and there's a three-step.
