because I want to see how it progresses in the future.

It's made me think AI is a lot more exciting.

A thing that I genuinely want to learn more about.

AI is fast becoming part of our daily lives

and it will play a big role in children’s futures.

Helping them to understand what AI is
and how people design and use it

is vital to prepare them for that future
– and inspire them to shape it.

The BBC micro:bit is a pocket-sized computer.

It makes computing physical,

so it’s a great tool for children to
explore basic computational thinking.

Extend that learning with

makes it easy for students

to explore AI through movement
and machine learning.

Students can program a micro:bit to recognise
and respond to their movements,

like clapping, waving, running
or even jumping.

They can then use their data to train,

I think it's really important
for our students to learn about AI,

it's going to have a massive impact in their future.

It's a really practical tool that
the kids get really engaged about.

It's really cool how like at first
you’re teaching it

and then it's like telling you
things that you didn't know.

It excites me more about what's to come.
