-
Every marriage has clashes, but not every clash builds marriage.
-
Disagreements are part of any godly union.
-
But disagreements should lead to greater agreement.
-
Misunderstanding should produce greater understanding.
-
When we waste our misunderstandings,
-
rather than learning from them, we end up repeating them.
-
And that is a common cause of love growing cold - because we’re living in the past.
-
You remind your husband of the past.
-
You remind your wife of the past when conflicts come
-
and so you end up repeating them,
-
rather than learning from them, rather than growing through them.
-
Misunderstanding must come.
-
Disagreement must come.
-
Conflict must come.
-
But as Christians who understand the past is over,
-
we are to learn from them, grow through them.

There's a difference between life experience and life lessons.
